Phoenix Suns Dynasty
Image

Today the Phoenix Suns announced major changes in their management staff effective immediately. All Trainers, Assistant Coaches and Scouts have been replaced to provide a more solid team effort on their way to NBA World Champions.

"It's a decision I can not understand completely, everything has been running smooth for us in the last couple of years. But I trust the owner to make no decision which is slowing down our progress. The new GM has to prove himself, that's for sure." - Mike D'Antoni - Head Coach -

Staff Changes
The Phoenix Suns hired:

    Assistant Coach: Luther Eisley
    Trainer: Larry Jacobs
    Scout: Nazr Garren

With Luther Eisley we have an allround coach on the team who can work with every player on the same level. Nazr Garren, who signed an one year contract, is specialized in african players. This year's draft has a lot of talent from these countries, so it has been a logical move"

Player Changes
With the return of Amarè Stoudamire, Shawn Marion is now playing as a Small Forward again. To ensure a strong starting lineup the Phoenix Suns announced the acquisition of Rookie Joey Graham from the Toronto Raptors in exchange for Boris Diaw.

Hey Hey nice dynasty by an Austria n friend !

Viel Glück und Hau rein!

Acquiring Joey is kinda cool, although Diaw just plays amazing in real life.
Maybe a risky Trade, that could pay off in future seasons.

Recap Grizzlies vs. Suns

Image

The Suns came up with a solid performance and in the first minutes of the game the additional Defense with the return of Amarè Stoudemire paid off. Joey Graham dished out his first assist for the Suns as he passed to "The Matrix" for the beautiful Alley-Oop. The Grizzlies answered: Damon Stoudemire hit a couple of consecutive Threes to bring his team back early. After the First Quarter the Suns have a two point lead. The score is 22 - 20.

Shawn Marion with seven points so far. The surprise is Kurt Thomas who already collected 4 boards.

In the second Quarter the Suns quickly extended their lead to six. Amarè Stoudemire came out hot scoring six consecutive points.

Halfway through the third the Suns up 63-49. The suns struggeling to hold of the Grizzlie's jump shooters. Stoudemire, Jones and Battier were hard to put under control.

Quotes

A. Stoudemire (on his return):
"It feels great to be out on the floor again. We played solid over three quarters, in the fourth we had problems with our concentration, Memphis hit a couple of big shots"

S. Nash (on Stoudemire and shooting 2-10 from beyond the Arc)
It's great to have Amarè back. Our defense is much better with him. Noone expected him to contribute so much in his first game after his injury. - Well, I had a cold streak tonight offensively. I missed shots I normally make. But that's sports, you never know what happens"

GM eisfeld (on Stoudemire, Graham and his first Game)
Seeing Amarè playing again gives us a great push. I'm very pleased with his performance tonight. We're executing great offensively but we have to work on D to keep of perimeter shooters. - For a rookie, Joey played a solid game, we decided to rest him in the fourth quarter, he's not custom to our system but I expect him to contribute a lot for our team."

Nice win, but what about Marion, he didnt have a good night i think
19 points is solid but 2 boards 0ass 0blocks not that good.

OT:
Thomas and Amarè and Tskitishvili had a strong night and collected together 30 of the Suns 35 boards. We'll see how Marion does in the next games.

Trade Rumors
The Phoenix Suns Press announced that the team is looking for some fresh faces off the bench. Tskitishvili and Jackson stated in the last game against the Grizzlies that they deserve a permanent spot at the suns roster. The Press also asked their readers to make some trade proposals for the team.

So don't hesitate to tell us which trade could improve the Team!
