BOBCATS 2005-2006 SEASON REVIEW

THE BIG NEWS

October 15th 2005 - Just prior to the 2005-2006 season opener the Bobcats fired General Manager and Coach Bernie Bickerstaff. His replacement was none other than billionaire businessman Mark Cuban, who crossed from his beloved Mavs to take over the role of General Manager. The interim coach is a little known coach Ryan Smith.

February 5th 2006 - Charlotte traded there first two picks in the 2006-2007 draft to the San Antonio Spurs for point guard Tony Parker

May 30th 2006 - Charlotte finished the season 29th in the Power Rankings, only managing to get a record of 19-63. Mark Cuban has stated that the upcoming offseason will be the biggest that any club has seen for quite some time.
