TRADE!

After the Rockets Hired a New General Manager, Shaun Callahan. He decided to a make a trade. He todl us we need a SG that can play the SF spot, or a SF. The Rockets sent Jon Barry, Bob Sura, and Dikembe Mutumbo to the New Orleans Hornets for JR Smith, Maciej Lampe and Arvydas Macijauskas.

Shaun Callahan told us that JR Smith will be the starting Small Forward, and McGrady will Start at the 2 spot. After that was done, Shaun released Arvydas Macijauskas.

Mon Nov 28, 2005 8:42 am

I don't like the trade. But i like the fact that you got J.R.. Why did you quit the bobcats dynasty.. it was pretty nice..

Mon Nov 28, 2005 9:00 am

You raped yourself in that trade.

Yea I did it just for JR Smith. My Bobcats one got deleted go to the very last post on that topic

thaKEAF wrote:You raped yourself in that trade.

I like JR Smith thats mainly why I did it.

I jid a little tiny jersey switch on JR Smith and Maciej Lampe on the Roster Section here are the pics:

How do they look?

Mon Nov 28, 2005 10:46 am

It's not a half bad trade as people think. You got rid of a bunch of older players and you got some promising youngsters instead. I think it's good because I always found Houston to have a little too many veterans to find them interesting to play with.

Mon Nov 28, 2005 10:46 am

i like it man, but seriously you are really running through your teams and dynasties.

Thanks man. And Thats why I made the trade too. Im not going to be playing Mutumbo. Sura wouldnt be getting too much tiem and neither would Barry

lol thanks. But if I knew my brother was going to delete it I would have stopped him

SECOND QUARTER

THIRD QUARTER
The Rockets came into the 2nd Half with a 9 point lead, 68-59. McGrady had 23 poins, Yao had 14, and Stro had 14 points aswell. The Knicks went on a 5-0 run, but then the Rockets went on a 12-1 run. The newest Rocket JR Smith had a 10 point quarter, and had 9 of those 10 points in the 12-1 run. The only scorer for New York was QRich who had 10 of the Knicks 19 points that quarter. At the end of 3 it was 94-78. The Rockets already had 98 points.

FOURTH QUARTER
All the Rockets starters came out of the game, TMac finished with 33 points, Yao finished with 20, JR Smith finished with 18, and Stro finished with 14 points. Derek Anderson, Luther Head, Lonny Baxter, Juwan Howard, and Maciej Lampe all came in. The Rockets then again went on a 14-2 run, and pretty much killed the Knicks. Curry had just 12 points. But Stephon had 19 points with 11 assists. Luther Head had a 10 point quarter, Juwan Howard had a 6 point quarter, and Anderson had 8 more points. The Rockets won by 26 points 126-100. McGrady told us after the game this "We played great. We could have played better defense for sure, and we lacked rebounding. Hopefully we will improve on those two things espesially soon" McGrady also took POG with 33 points, 4 rebounds and 8 assists.

FIRST QUARTER

SECOND QUARTER
INTERVENED

THIRD QUARTER
The Rockets were up at the half 42-54. McGrady had 18 points, and Yao had 10. It seemed like the Rockets would sail past the Bobcats, because they outscored them 25-10 that quarter. So at the end of 3 it was 52-79 Rockets

FOURTH QUARTER
The Bobcats came outstrong in the fourth. They first went on a 12-0 run. Then they went on a 20-8 run. They were down by 10 with a minute remaining. Emeka and Knight had a big fourth quarter combining for 30 of their 40 points. The score was 90-93, Rockets with 39 seconds. McGrady got the ball, and waited for the shot clock to expire and put a three and drilled it. With 14 seconds left, Brezec put up a 3 and missed. Then Emeka got stuffed by Yao, but Wallace dunked it. So with 10 seconds they fouled Anderson and he hit 1 of 2. And he put it away for the Rockets. McGrady took POG with 30 points 9 rebounds and 6 assists.

Nice wins. Good game for Brevin Knight in the Bobcats game.

BTW, trade Alston! You can't have a player who cries when his coach shouts at him!
