Nice. I've seen your other dynasties a couple of time before. Good to see another Spurs dynasty althought I changed the name of mine

San Antonio Spurs against the Miami Heat, the game they had to play since last year in the NBA Finals

MIAMI Oct 10 (TICKER) -- Remember when everybody said San Antonio-Miami will be this year's NBA Finals ? Finally the Pistons acquired the Eastern Conference Champions and the right to acceed to the Finals.


During the off-season Miami was very active in trades and free agents signing... Getting Jason Williams, James Posey, Antoine Walker, Gary Payton and others... They've lost players like Damon and Eddie Jones. Coach Stan Van Gundy is pleased with his current team and is happy to see a bench rather strong... They've drafted Wayne Simien coming from Kansas with the 29th pick of the 1st Round.. Miami's Starting 5 changed a lot since last year (not that much though). Shaquille O'Neal at center as usual, Udonis Haslem, and Antoine Walker at forwards. Antoine Walker had a lot of travel through the USA (Boston, Dallas, Atlanta, again Boston and now Miami (I'm forgetting some forgive me))... At shooting guard you've got the highflyer Dwyane Wade and at point guard, the funny Jason Williams coming from Memphis. But maybe James Posey will play at small forward instead of Antoine Walker... we should see...

San Antonio wasn't the most inactive... They've acquired players like Michael Finley, Nick Van Exel... and their bench looks stronger than before. But Gregg Popovich said clearly "The Starting 5 this season ? Don't worry it'll be the same as last year's...". We can expect the same Nazr Mohammed, Tim Duncan, Bruce Bowen, Manu Ginobili and Tony Parker. He will probably switch sometimes during the preseason games. Michael Finley was one of the most expected free agents this year, with Larry Hughes (Cleveland signed him). San Antonio drafted a French guy (forgot his name my bad) and Fabricio Oberto. Timothy Duncan gave a word about the game let's hear him : "Hmm well... don't know what to say, just one thing, I want to get the win." Not something really special, everybody wants to win... (:lol:)

Individual performances lifts Heat

Point guard Jason Williams scored 20 pts and shot winning threes in the Fourth quarter as well as in the crucial Third quarter. At the middle of the Fourth he was in trouble because of his 5th foul.

Jason Williams was a Grizzly before being traded along with James Posey for Eddie Jones.

San Antonio led the whole game until the middle of the Third quarter when everything slipped away. They did a good start at the First quarter, with an alley-oop Parker to Duncan, and right after that the French boy scored a bucket with a free throw. The lead started to get smaller and smaller before a three made by... Jason Williams. San Antonio scored right after but an alley-oop significated the end. They knew they wouldn't come back.

The score was high in this game, with a five points lead for the Spurs, 34 to 29. Then the score was 65 to 60, still for San Antonio, here, nothing really special, still the same point advantage. After that, a little boy named Jason Kapono will decide the winner. He started shooting long 2 and made them, at the end of the 3rd Miami led by two and Kapono was the current best scorer for the franchise of Florida.

Coming from the bench, experimented Gary Payton scored 14 pts and delivered 11 assists, Jason Kapono scored 15 pts. The Heat had difficulties stopping Spurs' superstar Tim Duncan, particularly Udonis Haslem, but the 3rd year man had a good game, combining 10 points with 8 rebounds. Rookie Wayne Simien didn't play.

Tim Duncan led the Spurs in points with 24 scored, he also grabbed 9 rebounds. Tony Parker had a good performance, scoring 20 points. Only 15 pts for Argentinian Manu Ginobili whereas Bruce Bowen scored 11 pts which is rather good for him. Sophomore Beno Udrih was the only Spur who didn't score. Rookie Fabricio Oberto scored 4 pts. Big Shot Rob scored a good three in the game before the end of the Second quarter.

The poor shooting percentage was terrible for San Antonio, especially for the threes. Compare San Antonio's to Miami's.

ohhhh tough loss man...... both teams have great support from their bench, it's just that miami shot the ball better than you did..... anyway, you'll get over it and adjust as games goes by...... goodluck next game....

Tough loss, Miami shot 64 percent That is amazing. You shot 55 percent, that is also amazing, this game looked like everyone was hitting shots all over the place, am I right?

DAMN IT (sorry to say it like that but I'm pissed off) my game doesn't want to work anymore !!! I don't know what happened but it doesn't want to launch... I just started the dynasty and here you go LegoTP, I don't want you to play the game...
