Thu Aug 11, 2005 2:47 pm

Good luck in your dynasty...and sorry I didnt like that trade either :(

The same day.... because of the acquisition of All-Star SF-Rashard Lewis, and the departure of PG-Mike Bibby, the team needed a trade for a good PG..
the kings decided to offer SF-Peja Stojakovic to the Heat, specifically in exchange for PG-Jason Williams and PF-Udonis Haslem.. And the trade was accepted and was made official.
ImageSF-Peja Stojakovic and ImageF-Eric Daniels
to Miami Heat for:
ImagePG-Jason Williams andImageF-Udonis Haslem

overview:
PG-Jason Williams: the acquisition of Jdub will give the sacramento king's fan something to cheer about.. He is now more mature than he was a few years ago.. He can shoot from beyond the arc and he's one of the best in the league in dishing the ball.
He's one of those few players who can bring the fans out of their seats with his amazing passes..

F-Udonis Haslem: Haslem is one of the leagues best rebounder...this will give the kings edge on rebounding... as well as an athletic forward--something that the kings lack..
SF-Peja Sotakovic:the decision was tough coz he can shoot the lights out from well beyond the arc BUT when its playoffs----HE STRUGGLES!!! besides now the Kings have SF-Rashard Lewis..

ImageF-Kenny Thomas and ImageF- Darius Songaila and ImageF- Corliss Williamson
to the Dallas Mavericks for:
ImageC-Erick Dampier and ImageG-Darrel Armstrong and ImageF-Abdul Wahad

Thu Aug 11, 2005 3:18 pm

and traded:
ImageC-Brad Miller and ImageF-Maurice Evans
to the New York Knicks in exchange for
ImageG-Jamal Crawford and ImageF-Jerome Williams

Reasons:
C-Brad Miller is a great player but cannot jump to get the rebounds and especially block shots..
G-Jamal Crawford will provide support offensively and has quick hands defensively
F-Jerome Williams is an eight-year veteran who is a real energy guy and a usual fan favorite wherever he calls home

the kings has a new look.. now it is more of a run and gun team rather than the old boring team.. same as before coz they can still shoot from downtown but more physical with the addition of Erick Dampier, Jerome Williams, Udonis Haslem, and Danny Fortson-plus all of them can rebound..
new line up:
ImageImageImageImageImage
C-Erick Dampier
PF-Udonis Haslem
SF-Rashard Lewis
SG-Jamal Crawford
PG-Jason Williams
