Utah Loses a heartbreaker

Fri Jul 22, 2005 12:36 pm

Utah Lose a Heartbreaking Home Opener
Utah loses a tight one against kobe n crew

Utah loses thier season opener against the traveling lakers. Kobe Bryant opened the game up HOT, going 4/4 in 3point land, including a four point play. Kobe cam out with 45 points, and went 7 for 9 in three point territory. He also shot 78% from the field. While Lebron ended up with 43 points.

Right away in the 1st quarter, Kobe went off downtown, making Doug Christie look like Ehlo on Jordan. He had attempted 4 threes, and making four in the process. Several time throughout the game Kobe was left wide open.

In the second, a rivalry had devloped, as Dwight Howard and Lamar Odom had gotten into a classic duel. Dwight Howard had 13 in the second and Odom had tallied up 7. Kwame Brown's LA bebut off the bench was a blast, as all of his shots were Power House throwdowns!

The third was Kobes quarter as he shot 7/9 n 2/3 down deep. Lebron had a nasty reverse throwdown. Also, the Dwight-Odom battle continued to become a rivalry, n they will see eachother again in december.

The fourth quarter, King James Rallied his team to make a comeback on the once 20 point Laker lead. He started the 4th with all hustle, and dropped 10 right away. Then the rest off the team started to pitch in, and it wus a 2 point game by the 1 minute mark. The Lakers brought back in clutch Kobe, n put the game away, 129 to 124.

Major Trade Busted Out

Fri Jul 22, 2005 5:47 pm

Kobe Bryant has been traded away to the Utah Jazz.

The Utah Jazz and the Los Angelas Lakers have come to an agreement for the 26 year old superstar, Kobe Bryant.

The Utah Jazz have acquired Kobe Bryant in a specatuler trade involving 5 players. Doug Christie, Deron Williams, and Howard Eisley have been shipped to L.A. In return, Utah has gotten the 6'6" young all-star, along with Ronny Turiaf.

Utah now has a MV3 triple threat. Dwight Howard working the post, which he proved in last ngiths game, dropping 32 points. Kobe Bryant working outside shooting, and playing point guard would also be a option for Utah. And finally Lebron James, who would be working all aspects of the game; outside, inside, driving, dishing and defensive work.

The Utah Jazz will hope to be a playoff team, n go deep as well. They have stripped their rosters for an all new lineup. the line is as follows...
center Mehmet Okur, Power Forward Dwight Howard, Small Forward Lebron James, Shooting Guard Matt Harpring, and Point Guard Kobe Bryant
