Pacers VS Celtics

First Quarter

Paul Pierce couldn't find his stroke this quarter but good thing his teamates could the pacers had no inside pressence. Rickydavis and Gary payton Both scored 10 points in the first quarter which helped them win the first half 30-24. Jamaal Tinsley just oculd not be stoped.

Second QUarter

DUring the first 2 minutes the celtics went on a 10-0 run. making the score 40-24 but thats all they did this quarter cause after that run jamaal tinsley and reggie miller lit up hte floor scoring 15 in a row before the celtics could answer back Paul Pierce was STILL struggling to score. before the half the celtics were down 42-44.

The game stayed tied and Pierce finally got on the right track scoring 8 of the celtics 14 points this quarter. Ricky davis and Gary Payton scored 2 a piece and Lafrentz scored the other 2. Score after 3 56-56

Fourth Quarter.

The celtics trailed by as much as 4 and led by as much as 6. Jamaal Tinsley and Gary payton Battled it out with threes and jermaine O'neal Rocked the defensive rebounds. with 1.8 seconds left on the clock gary Payton hit the tying three to bring this game into over time 69-69.

Over Time

NObody scored for the first 3 minutes of play then both teams lit it up Paul Piece scored 18 of the celtics 20 points the other 2 being scored by Raef LaFrentz. Reggie miller scored all of the pacers points this quarter. But Because Paul Pierce Stepped it up it led to the first overtime for hte Boston Celtics.
