Who the hell you might ask, well i don't care. Anyways, Yesterday i finally got some money and went out and purchased Nba Live 2005, so i've decided to do a Portland Trailblazers dynasty.

Training Camp 2004

It is time for the Portland Trailblazers Training Camp

The Coaching Staff have decided to Concentrate on Defence this year
"I think our defence was mediocre last season so we decided to work on it in this year's training camp," General Manager Robert Skrnjug said, "I think we can turn it around this season with (Zach) Randolph, Shareef (Abdur-Rahim) and Darius Miles."

The most improved player in this year's training camp was new rookie Sebastian Telfair


GM Robert Skrnjug also mentioned about a few trades involving the Atlanta Hawks, Los Angeles Lakers and San Antonio Spurs, maybe even a Free Agent Signing.

As GM Robert Skrnjug mentioned at the Portland Training Camp, some trades and signages have been made.

Skrnjug decided to sign Rookie Corsley Edwards. Corsley was drafted 58th by the Sacramento Kings in the 2004 drafted but the Kings decided not to sign him. Skrnjug thinks this 6"9, 275lb Power Forward can become a Zach Randolph.
Trading away Travis Outlaw, who has heaps of potential, wasn't agreed by many staff members at Portland. But he was traded to a player, according to Skrnjug, who has the potential to become a consistent shooter. Ha Seung-Jin didn't fit in the team.
Trading Nick Van Exel for Brian Grant was purely for we needed a back up Power Forward.

I don't think trading for Brian Grant was a good idea, since Van Exel's contract was about to expire after this season and Brian Grant is very undersized and is still locked up for quite a long time on a huge contract.

Early Season Jitters Hit Trailblazers

The first game of the season for the Portland Trailblazers was a roadtrip down the coast to Oakland to verse Baron Davis and the Golden State Warriors

It was strange to see Baron Davis starting this game on the bench, maybe some secret injury problems or computer sim problems

The 1st quarter started out being a high scoring, yet even, affair.

The 2nd quarter was when the Warriors started to take their game up a notch establishing an 80-65 lead over the Trailblazers.

2nd Half Recap
The 3rd Quarter belonged to the Trailblazers comeback. Cutting the Deficit from 21 to 6 in the first 7 minutes, it took a while but patience was the key. The lead was 8 at 3 quarter time.

The 4th quarter belonged to the Warriors as they established a 20+ point lead. The Final Score was 160 - 136.

Zach Randolph's 42 points, 9 Rebounds, weren't enough for the Portland Trailblazers as they go 0-1 to start the season

Robert Skrnjug refused to comment on the game. Darius Miles, who got fouled out early in the 4th quarter, had this to say - "We tried our hardest, especially in the 3rd quarter, but we had to many damn fouls."

Golden State's Mike Dunleavy Jr had this to say - "Derek (Fisher) played extremely well today, i hope to see more of this."

The next game for the Trailblazers is in 2 days against the LA Clippers in Portland. Until then, Cheers,

I didn't like Van Exel, and i think Telfair has a lot of potential. You're correct about it wasn't a good idea so i dont know what to say now i'll just hope he won't lose any games for us

Trailblazers Slump at home

The Portland Trailblazers have now slumped down to a 0-2 record with a 114 - 92 loss at home against the LA Clippers.

Shareef Abdur-Rahim played well with 21 points and 8 rebounds.
Damon Stoudamire added 18 points and 8 assists.

Elton Brand starred for the Clippers with 20 points and 12 rebounds.
Bobby Simmons also contributed with 25 points.
Rick Brunson also surprised the Trailblazers with 11 points in 14 minutes off the bench.

Robert Skrnjug said he will make some roster changes involving trades and releases and signages. That night he released Viktor Krhyapa and Richie Frahm.

He decided to sign Chris Jeffries. Robert Skrnjug said the team needed a 2nd back up Small Forward.
Trading Brian Grant for Antonio Davis was for salary cap reasons as Antonio Davis's contract expires in 2 years but Brian Grant's expires in 3 years

Nice start, but the Brian Grant trade was awful... Good thing you got rid of him...

Now go sign coach McMillan...

You sort of redeemed yourself with that trade for Antonio Davis, Davis can still be quite an effective player for his age, and even though he's still 6'9, he's bulky as hell and takes up a lot of room in the paint, and let's not forget his mid range jumper.

Davis was a Raptor once........ Still one of my favourites too.

Trailblazers Win in Overtime

The Trailblazers next game was in the great country named Canada against the Toronto Raptors

I would have preferred Bosh at the C and Donyell Marshall at the PF. Portland replaced Derek Anderson with Ruben Patterson on the Starting 5 as SG.

1st Half Recap
The 1st quarter started off as a shot swapping type game. Each team going shot for shot with the Trailblazers finishing the quarter up 31 to 27.

The 2nd quarter was pretty much the same, the Trailblazers managed to hold the lead at half time. Half time score - 61-59.

2nd Half Recap
The 3rd Quarter all went wrong for the Trailblazers and went right for the Raptors. The Trailblazers were comitting too many turnovers and the Raptors made them pay. The Raptors stole the lead and were up 84-77 at the 3 quarter break.


Zach Randolph continuing his strong play but the guards let down the team with turnovers.

We just can't get enough of Zach... We love him.

The 4th quarter started off the way the 3rd quarter was played, Raptors playing strong and Trailblazers turning the ball over. Suddenly, the Trailblazers surprised the Raptors and began to make a comeback with 5 minutes to go. Eventually the Trailblazers got within 4 points with 1 minute left. Bosh went for a lay-up and got blocked and the Trailblazers scored a lay-up. With 12 seconds left and Toronto up by 2 and they had an inbound pass, they inbounded the ball and poor Rafael Araujo didn't catch the ball and it went out of bounds. Then the Trailblazers inbounded the ball, got it to Shareef Abdur-Rahim who held it for 5 seconds and then schooled his opponent off the dribble and scored a lay-up to take into overtime! The scores were even at 108 a piece.


This was one of Ruben Patterson's two field goals of the night.

Darius Miles got fouled, was falling to the ground, flicked it up and COUNTED and he scored the and 1.

Overtime began with Damon Stoudamire hitting a key 3 pointer and the lead was pretty much 3 points for 4 minutes. Then the Raptors began fouling and the Trailblazers scored their free throws and the Raptors missed their attempts to tie or win the game. The Final Score was 130 to 122.

No Surprises here. With all those dunks. He deserves Player of the Game because he kept his team alive in the 3rd quarter and grabbed 16 important Rebounds.

When i just got the game a few days ago, i was doing a Traiblazers dynasty and i traded van exel for Grant, then i did another play around dynasty and traded for Davis then somehow i thought of Grant over Davis oh well.

I might sign McMillan next season if i learn how to .dbf edit Coaches

Trailblazers Front Court dominate in Close Win

Portland travel east to face the New Jersey Nets coming off an overtime win in Toronto.

Same line-up that won the game against the Raptors. New Jersey has a good back court.

1st Half Recap
The New Jersey Nets grabbed an early 8 point lead with a 14 to 6 start. The Nets continued to dominate the backcourt putting the Blazers into fould trouble. Despite having 2 players getting injured, Shareef Abdur-Rahim and Sebastien Telfair, and 2 players with 2 fouls on the bench, Darius Miles and Derek Anderson, Zach Randolph and the frontcourt began to expose that it was a Nets weakness and they started a comeback to finish the quarter only down by 1 point.

The Nets quickly came out and made the lead 7 points but the Trailblazers managed to make the deficit 1 point again. Shareef Abdur-Rahim was put back after recovering from his minor injury quite quickly. The teams began to swap the lead, the Blazers were using their front court well but the Nets were using their back court well. Shareef Abdur-Rahim began to catch fire, scoring 12 of the next 14 points for the Blazers to help them gain a 9 point lead to close the half up 69-60.

2nd Half Recap

The Trailblazers continued to dominant the front court in this quarter, despite Ruben Patterson and Derek Anderson committing their 4th foul each, thus forcing Sebastien Telfair, with the risk of getting a major injury, to come back on. The Nets back court began to make a mini run, coming to within 10 points but the Trailblazers held on, making good passes and shots. Suddenly the Nets began to make a comeback, scoring 8 points in a row to cut the deficit to 2 but the Trailblazers held on with the 3rd quarter score at 95-91.

The 4th quarter was quite boring until the final 2 minutes. The Nets made a run and tied the game at 116 a piece. The Nets stole the lead makeing 3/4 Free Throws. But Damon Stoudamire hit a 3 over Vince Carter to take back the lead. Kidd hit a jump shot but Shareef Abdur-Rahim dunked the ball and got fouled and scored the and 1. Vince Carter missed a 3 point shot but Nenad Krstic rebounded the ball and got fouled but missed his 2 Free throws so the Nets sent Patterson to the line but he missed his Free Throws. Richard Jefferson got fouled on the shot and made both Free Throws and then they sent Damon Stoudamire to the line and he scored both Free throws. The game ended with the Blazers taking this one 126 to 123.

Trailblazers Injury Update

Sebastien Telfair and Shareef Abdur-Rahim have both suffered minor injuries.

Sebastien Telfair has a sprained wrist and will take 6 days to recover
Shareef Abdur-Rahim has a sprained finger and will take 4 days to recover

The Coaching staff have decided not to play Sebastien Telfair for the next few days until he recovers and to place Shareef Abdur-Rahim on the bench for Theo Ratliff, who has been great off the bench. Shareef is to have limited minutes off the bench. The coaching staff do not want to risk further injury with these two players.

I know it is a bit early, but I'll make the Season go faster so for now, If anyone wants to be involved in this Dynasty as a Rookie, for the 2005 Draft, send your cyberface

The Portland Trailblazers headed to Boston to verse the Celtics who are undefeated at 3-0.

The first quarter belonged to the Boston Celtics as they grabbed a 4 point lead at the end of the quarter. In the 2nd quarter, the Blazers came back and held the Celtics to only 9 points as they made a 6 point lead to end the half. The 3rd quarter was pretty much even with the Blazers holding a 4 point lead. The Celtics came back and took the game 73-71 in the final quarter.

Zach Randolph played execptionally well, only have 1 minute rest and producing 30 points, 15 rebounds and 3 blocks. Damon Stoudamire also scored 13 points and 7 assists.

For the Celtics, Antoine Walker managed 13 points with 5-20 shooting but grabbed 18 rebounds. Their scoring was evened out with Paul Pierce being the top scorer with 16 points.

The Portland Trailblazers played their second home game this season against the Toronto Raptors. The Trailblazers were looking to bounce back after a heart breaking loss against the Celtics.

The first quarter belonged to the Trailblazers as they out scored the Raptors 38 to 19. The 2nd quarter was more even as the half finished with the Trailblazers up 60 to 39. The Raptors began to make a come back, out scoring the Trailblazers 30 to 19. The come back also continued in the 4th quarter but the Trailblazers managed to hold on to win 96-93.

Zach Randolph played well again, scoring 22 points and grabbing 13 rebounds. Damon Stoudamire also played great, scoring 21 points and dishing out 8 assists in only 23 minutes of game time.

Rafer Alston scored the most for the Raptors, scoring 22 points. Chris Bosh scored 16 points and grabbed 11 boards.

The next game for the Portland Trailblazers is in 4 days on Wednesday at home against the Memphis Grizzlies.

After the game, the Doctors confirmed that Shareef Abdur-Rahim is on the mend and should be 100%. Shareef was placed back on the starting line-up ahead of Theo Ratliff.

Scouting Report

GM Robert Skrnjug sent a Scout to Australia and found a guy named Robert Skrnjug from Geelong. The Scout watched Robert play a game for the local team, the Geelong Supercats. That game, Robert Skrnjug scored 45 points, blocked 5 shots, grabbed 4 rebounds, and dished out 10 assists. The scout, James Nichols, was quite surprised by this performance. His position type was kinda confusing because the teams didn't have a guy above 6"8 and he was a 6"7 who could play pretty much any position.



His best attributes are Dunking, Jumping, Blocking, Passing, Stamina, Speed and Inside Scoring.

His weaknesses were Free Throws, Dribbling, Stealing, 3 pointers, Field Goals and Strength.

Scout James Nichols took him to some further training sessions and was amazed that his vertical leap was 43" and his 3/4 court sprint was 2.97 seconds.
