Micchy's NLSC-Hawks Dynasty l NO MORE UPDATE l

Again I decided to start or let say re-start my Atlanta Hawks dynasty.... I will only add few real Rookies in this dynasty...

Again , I simmed the first season and i will not do a season recap anymore to make this dynasty rolling. As we all know Hawks ended in the lottery and I will try to re-build the franchise by signing decent players in the free-agent market or doing some major trade....

i will try to do my off-season moves later or maybe tomorrow....

well i try, i made a mistake with my previos dynasty of not making a back-up file but i won't make the same mistake again.

ATLANTA HAWKS - BEGINNING OF A NEW START

After another dissapointing season for the Atlanta Hawks, Hawks’ owners finaly accepted that they need to make BOLD move in order to change the destiny of this franchise. Not a big surprise, they decided to sell the franchise to guy only known as Crash `N Burn.

Just few days owning a team, Crash `N Burn asked for an appointment with NBA Commissioner David Stern. After the meeting, David Stern made a presscon and announced that there will be a Dispersal Draft for all the Hawks players under contracts and will be participated by the Lottery teams. With only 8 players under contract, only 8 teams with the worst records will participate in the draft to be held 2 days from now. Below are list of Hawks players to be picked and the teams that have a chance to pick them.

David Stern also announced that the Atlanta Hawks will forfeit their draft picks in the NBA Draft to be held in New York.

DISPERSAL DRAFT

VC Russ Granik: “With the 1st pick in this Dispersal Draft, the Charlotte Bobcats select Josh Childress.”


“We never saw this coming. The Bobcats decided to pass on Al Harrington to upgrade their SG position. They think Gerald Wallace will have a better season along with Okafor and Swift at the frontcourt. Childress will is definitely an upgrade to Kareem Rush in that position.”

VC Russ Granik: “With the 2nd pick, the New Orleans Hornets select Al Harrington.”


‘Hornets were happy to see Al Harrington on their team, big thanks to the Bobcats not picking him. Harrington will give them an offensive player they lost when they traded Baron Davis last season. Expect big numbers from Harrington in Hornets.”

VC Russ Granik: “With the 3rd pick, the Golden State Warriors select Josh Smith.”

“Warriors picking 3rd only means they will get one of the 3 Hawks players with lots of potential. With Harrington and Childress already gone, Warriors picked Josh Smith. This Warriors team will be fun to watch with Davis, Richardson and Smith, esp. with their high-flying dunks.”

VC Russ Granik: “With the 4th pick, the Utah Jazz select Predrag Drobnjak.”


Well another white guy in Salt Lake City. The selection of Drobnjak makes the frontcourt rotation of Jazz deeper.

VC Russ Granik: “With the 5th pick, the Washington Wizards select Boris Diaw.”


Wizards hope that picking Diaw will somehow make up for the lost of Larry Hughes. But he will be a nice addition for the Wizards bench.

VC Russ Granik: “With the 6th pick, the Toronto Raptors select Tony Delk.”


With limited option, I think Raptors made a steal by getting Delk deep in this draft. He will be a nice back-up for Alston and will be a good leader for this rebuilding team.

VC Russ Granik: “With the 7th pick, the New Jersey Nets select Donta Smith.”


Again with only Smith and Collier, Nets decided to go on athletic players than going for a big man.

VC Russ Granik: “With the 8th and last pick of the draft, the Philadelphia 76ers select Jason Collier.”


Last man to be picked. Not much to say about this.

Crash ‘N Burn, along with front office personnel’s and coaching staff then held tryouts all over the worlds. They also sent lots of scouts to look and search for unknown players who they think can play in the NBA. After few months of building a team, Atlanta Hawks finally announced their new team which consists of only 10 players.
The management said that they still don’t now how good these players are but 1 thing they know they all have the desire and heart to play in this league. They are optimistic this new players will fair well against powerhouse team in the coming season.

nice....I wonder how long the team can survive with me and you as shooting forwards....lacking a bit of toughness....should be interesting though....I'm expecting iLLuzionz to steal my starting spot by Christmas
