Micchy_boy's Hawks Dynasty
. . . . . : : : : :
: : : : : . . . . .
Well i decided to start this dynasty.... This will be a 29 games per season and planning to finish the Dynasty mode of 25 years.... It will be very different with my Lakers dynasty as i will not play the whole game and will not do recap of all the game. I will intervene every game in 4th quarter no matter how the score come 4th quarter, i'l play it ven if i'm trailing by 20 points or more, a close game or I'm leading by a big margin (which will only happen maybe once in 100 games).
I simulated the 1st season and will start with 2005-06 season. But i will try to narrate what happen in my 1st season.

Hawks 2004-05 Season Recap
As expected, the Hawks ended the 2004-05 season as one of the worst team in the league, 2nd worst to make it more specific. The Hawks finished with 7-22, 1 win better than the lowly-Jazz with 6-23.
Hawks open the season with 2-5 in the month of November, winning their games against expansion team Bobcats and Jazz. In December, they won against another lottery team Los Angeles Clippers and against New Orleans Hornets on New Year's Eve. They ended the month with 2-6 record and 4-11 overall.
Hawks won their first game in January against Warriors to record their first winning streak of the season. They extended it to 3 games when they beat the Milwaukee Bucks and the Hawks having a great new year. But they dropped their next 3 games for a 2-3 record. In February, Hawks dropped another 2 games and hold a 6-16 records at ALL-Star Break.
During All-Star break, both Josh Childress and Josh Smith were invited to participate in the Rookie-Sophomore games. Smith started at the small forward position while Childress came as a reserve. Both players showed few great plays. In the end the favorite Sophomores team led by the trio of James, 'Melo and Wade won the game. Nuggets' Carmelo Anthony bagged the Rookie-Sophomore MVP plum.
In the 3-point shootout, Reggie Miller beat Ray Allen 18-17 and was decided in the final money ball. Both Miller and Allen scored 23 points in the 1st round. Miller shoots first in the final round and scored 18 points. Ray Allen shoots next and scored 13 points after 4 racks. In the final rack, he made the first 4 ball to make it 18-17 but he missed the money ball and gave the trophy to Miller who already announced his retirement after this season. Well what a great tribute to one of the best shooter of all time.
3-point Shootout Participants

Josh Smith was invited to participate in the Slamdunk Competition. He will go up against 3 of the best and high-flyers in NBA today.
All 4 players scored 50 points in their 1st attempt. In their second dunk, Josh Smith got a low score from the judges while the other 3 got another 50 points score. At tiebreakers, Vince Carter got the lowest score among the 3 players and set a finals between J.R Smith and Jason Richardson.
In his 1st dunk, Smith scored 48 points while Richardson scored 47 points. Both players scored 50 in their next dunk and gave the rookie J.R Smith the Slamdunk king trophy.
Slamdunk Competition

In the main game, Al Harrington started as the power forward of the East team to play along side guys like Shaq O’Neal, Lebron James and Allen Iverson. They got up against Kobe Bryant, Yao Ming and Kevin Garnett. In the end the, East won this game behind Allen Iverson heroic.
After the All-Star break, Hawks won their next assignment against Raptors before losing their last game for the month of February. In this month, they were 1-3.
Hawks had 2 games in March and 3 games in April. They lost all of their remaining games to make it 6 straight losses, their longest losing streak in this season.

Don't look at me like that, I was also shock to see Lakers having the best record. I used Andrew latest roster patch and never edit any rating.
Also Kevin Garnet led the NBA in scoring with his 25.3 PPg and tied with Ben Wallace to lead in block category with 2.5 blocks per game. Brendan Haywood led all players in rebounding with 14.4 RPG while Paul Pierce lead in steal with 2.67 per game. Dwyane Wade led in assists with 7.6 per game.
Al Harrington proved he is the franchise players of this Hawks team in most statictical categories.

Mon Apr 04, 2005 9:59 am
nice, i understand the point of the PM now.
i guess in that cause my guy might have to be shorter. like 6-6 or 6-7 then.. we'll see
and sweet job so far man. too bad they just sucked
Mon Apr 04, 2005 7:36 pm
I like that you intervene regardless of scoreline....I do the same in 1/3 of my Bobcats' games, regardless of score....one game I was down by like 30-40 and almost stole a win....and with a bad team, you are more often than not, gonna be entering each game down by between 10 and 20 points
Mon Apr 04, 2005 7:45 pm
Lake show came 1st??? and a first round upset! haha... nice work micchy.. lets see wat u can do with this team!
Mon Apr 04, 2005 10:20 pm
u said that KG led lewague wit 25.3 ppg, but al harrington had 25.5
25.3<25.5
Mon Apr 04, 2005 11:08 pm
And Vince Carter 27.7ppg... so my guess he meant 28.3 for KG.

i think it will be more fun since its a challenge for me and i'm doing this while i'm searching for inspiration for my lakers dynasty since they not making the playoff in real life...jxuusa wrote:nice, i understand the point of the PM now.

Vince Carter led in scoring with 27.7 PPG and KG led in scoring in playoff..
