Trump's Alt-Universe LAKER dynasty. YOUR TRADED!

Mon Oct 25, 2004 2:20 am

The 2005 Dynasty Premise:
July 2004: Donald Trump knowing full well that he can force Dr. Jerry Buss to sell the majority shares of his team of 25 years and enjoy retirement, realizes he has a major overhaul in the works:

:!: Relieves Mitch Kupchak of his GM duties and reassigns him to Personal Trainer.
:!: Decides the logical team philosophy is to keep Shaq trade Kobe to Houston for McGrady.
:!: BUT agrees to stick with Kupchak's idea of trading Payton to Boston

Of course, I don't have the PC-version yet, but pending that we can edit the rosters, this will be the foundation of my 2005 Dynasty.

The Boardroom:
Noone's exempt from being traded from the roster! So, utilizing the Birdie formula utility on Livedynasty.com, the following will happen each Episode(after 5 games):
 The lowest Birdie-rated starter will be regulated to the bench. The bench positions will be reassigned based on their Birdie score.
 Thus, the highest Birdie-rated bench player, independent of position, will be pushed to the starting lineup. The lineup positions will be shuffled to accordingly to their Birdie score.
 The lowest Birdie-rated player on the active roster will be placed on the trading block and pray they won't hear the dreaded words, "YOU'RE TRADED!"
 Players on the IR will always be used for trade packages

So, every player will need to "Step up to the Plate" and bring everything they got "to the table." Yes, my quest to popularize the Birdie formula is still alive!

NOTE: Once you develop your cyberface, please e-mail it at honorglow@livedynasty.com and I'll make sure to add you to my 2005 Dynasty.

heh, good stuff honorglow (Y)

i'm just wondering if we're all gonna be on your team (lakers :lame::P ) or teams of our choice? because that "you're traded" thing makes it sound like we're all gonna be put on the lakers... :(

iDiot...that actually gives me the cool idea of actually having 12 NLSC players on my Laker squad...so we can make it a real 'REALITY SHOW'

But unfortunately, to get 12 NLSC cyberfaces I'd have to wait a long while...and as you know, we're all getting anxious to get our Dynasties started...

But alas, another angle we can have is whatever Laker is on the trading block, Trump will be trading him FOR a NLSC. Aha!!!!!! Aha!!! There's an idea!

Ug, then the other idea is to reset the Dynasty once I do get all 12 NLSC cyberfaces in....ug, all these possbilities.

"YOU'RE TRADED!"

As most of you know, I've been spending most of my time serving the existing dynasties on this 2005 thread by giving them the Birdie Breakdown, so I will have to wait until the coding slows down to continue giving updates of my Dynasty....so you will have to wait for the semi-wit and originality that was semi-prevalent in my 2004 Dynasty.

My Dynasty is still going strong albeit it being in the background. It's really starting to shape up like the Orlando Magic of yesteryear.

My Trades:
 The Three Way trade did go down: McGrady to L.A. -> Kobe to Houston -> Francis to Orlando
 I obtained Grant Hill from Orlando for Medvendenko and other scrubs
 Oh, yeh, did I mention that I still have Shaq? (remember he started in Orlando...way back in the day)

So without further adieu, let's review:

Image
BEST FRIENDS: Shaq with Kobe

Image
Tracy McGrady: Never Look so Good in the Golden Armor

Image
2005 Rookie-Sophomore Game: Brian Cook dishing out an incredible $1.90. (okay do the math)

Oh, I see...that probably means that you're still coding, right Honor Glow?
