Big Trade

Postby hellboi on Sun Aug 07, 2005 7:01 am

Cavs trade for a point guard
In a stunning deal involving the Cleveland Caveliers and the Dallas Mavericks, the cavs send point guard Eric Snow and Forward Drew Gooden in exchange for point guard Jason Terry. The Cavs needed a decent point guard to bring the ball up, especially when you got a good young man in LeBron James out on the floor.[/b]

I don't like that trade too much. Giving up the young talent of Drew Gooden and Eric Snow who's a solid PG for Jason Terry isn't a great trade. But it's not too bad. Good luck. (Y)

I think so,D.Gooden and E.Snow can package for an allstar level PG,but you can also trade them for a 1 Round Picks from the worst team, that will enable you to get a good and potential guard the next year, you may have a try!

Ilgauskas big in first win over Indiana
In the first game of the Cavs season, the player that was involved in trade talks came through with 28 points, 12 boards and 2 blocks. LebBron didn't do much this game being guarded by Ron Artest, but he still managed to rack up 12 points, 5 boards and 5 asses. While the newly aquired Jason Terry had a great game picking up 15 points, 10 assists and 3 steals. On the other side, Ron Artest had a great game both offensively and defensively while racking up 22 points and getting six steals off LeBron, but he alone couldn't stop the charge of the Cavs.

First Quarter
In the first Cleveland started big by outscoring their opponenets 14-32. Even though the Pacers got outscored in the first, they stayed with it and kept battling.

Second Quarter
In the second the Pacers continued to get blown out, but they did show signs of life toward the end. The biggest play of the half was when Robert "Tractor" Traylor dunked it on Jermaine O'Neal and got the foul. It was his only 3 points of the game but it helped.

Players of the Half
Zydrunas Ilgauskas with 15 points and 8 boards.
Stephen Jackson with 11 points, 4 boards and 4 assists.

Third Quarter
In the third Fred Jones and Larry Hughes had a battle. They both dunked on each other and shot each others eyes out. Winning the battle was Larry Hughes by getting 16 of his 19 in this quarter alone, Fred Jones had 6 in the quarter. Larry Hughes scored all the third quarter points cept for one. While the Pacers were tryin to make a comeback by outscoring the Cavs by seven.

Fourth Quarter
Well this quarter was just about racking up stats because it was over for the Pacers. As the game was coming to an end LeBron hit the buzzer beater 3 pointer that wasn't called for. The player of the game was Zydrunas Ilgauskas with 28 points and 12 boards. The Cavs next game is against the Miami Heat. By the way, that game was hard as hell!!!!!!

Cleveland Wins as Underdog in Miami!!!!!

First Quarter:
Well, the gameplan all along for the Cavs was to take Shaq out of the game and they did just that. As he got two quick fouls along with their starting point guard Jason Williams. Even though Shaq was out the Heat stayed in riding the back of Dwyane Wade and his ten points in the quarter. The score at the end of 1 was 28-26 Cavs were winning.

Second Quarter:
Well, the plan wasn't changed even thought big ass Shaq got back in. The battle was between LeBron James and rookie back up point guard Dorell Wright. LeBron tallied up 14 points and 4 asses in this quarter while Wright got 10 points. Larry Hughes also got 9 points in the second and he also had a crazy two handed windmill on Shaq!!!! The score at the end of 2 was 54-65 the Cavs were winning still haha.

Players of the half:
LeBron James with 26 points, 2 boards and 5 asses.
Dwyane Wade with 16 points.

Third Quarter:
LeBron started right where he left off with a Jordan dunk on a fastbreak. LeBron then misses a fadeway but Ilgauskas dunk tips it on Shaq  for Ilgauskas it was his 13th board of the night. Man Shaq is getting abused up in here. Dwyane Wade just hit a three  lol j/p. Omg this ones goin in the record books:Diop just dunked on Shaq  .
After 3 the score was 90-78 Cavs.

Fourth Quarter:
Well Bron Bron came in dunking putting Toine on a damn poster. Wade has been putting the Cavs big men on posters all day. Ilgauskas again gets a Bron Bron miss on a dunk tip put back for his 17th board tonight. Whooo......well the Heat tried to make a comeback but got put away by Bron and Hughes clutch free throws. The player of the game goes to LeBron James with 46 points, 8 boards, 8 asses and 5 steals. Ilgauskas also had a great game with 21 points and 19 boards. On the other side, Wade had a great game with 45 points, 3 boards and 4 asses. What can I say bout that besides Shaq got abused.
