The Wolves have traded Hudson

The Wolves dealt away Troy Hudson for the Laker's Devean george. The Lakers needed a point guard, and the Wolves wanted a backup SF.

Troy Hudson will be in yellow now.

The Wolves make another trade

The Timberwolves have traded away Latrell Sprewell, who was very weak last year. He will be spening this season in New Orleans. The Hornets needed a SF, but they took a big hit to get one.

The Wolves got rid of the 6'7" SF who took up 14mil., and got a hot rookie. The Hornets traded Chris Paul for the old Sprewell. This was a questionable trade for the Hornets.

The rookie from Wake Forest.

Looks good. Great trades. Skeptical about the sanity of the New Orleans GM though....

Wolves are undefeated!!!

The Timberwolves are undefeated, 1-0. The win against the New York Knickerbockers was the Wolve's Opener, and they opened with a bang. The Final score was 126-93 Minnesota wins.

The first quarter, Chris Paul made his debut, but was on the bench behind the vet. Sam Cassell. Another rookie, Rashard McCants, made his debut on the starting lineups. KG wanted to start things off big.

The 2nd was full of Chris Paul's crisp passes. He played most of the 2nd, taking 8 assists in that quarter. By half time, he had 11 asses. KG kept his scoring alive, as he had 31 points at half.

The third quarter was domination also, as Paul and KG made nice passes to eachother. This could be a dynamic duo, KG and CP? It could happen.

The fourth was merely a time to add up stats. Everyone got in the game and made some sort of sontribution. The bench was a key factor in this game, giving the bigger names a break.

Kevin Garnett was givin player of the game for obvious reasons. He went out with 70 points, 10 rebounds, and 2 assists. Chris Paul also got great stats, on his first NBA game, he tallied 22 assists!

Minnesota takes Nuggets virginity

In a stunning loss, the Nuggets have lost 2 in a row, starting out 0-2. The Wolves took the Nuggets for a nice 2-0 start on the season.

The 1st quarter Chris Paul made his first NBA start over Sam Cassell. He and KG are making a great Duo, dominateing the first quarter.

The second quarter was Sam Cassell's, as he tried to prove he should start over the new guy. He had a few points and a few asses. Also Olowokandi did some work on the boards.

At half time, Kg led the team in every categorie.

The third quarter was really boring.

The 4th quarter was just the quarter to put it all awy. I dont feel like doing good so here r soem pics....

Next Game Vs Spree's Hornets

Postby G-unot on Mon Aug 08, 2005 7:49 am

The key matchup is mainly on Sprewell. The Wolves know of his potential to tear up a game, and want Wallay to guard him because he has played him in pratice, and would know how to defend him. Another threat is JR Smith, and Minnesota is hoping that Rashard can contain him.

Sprewell's Revenge: Part I

Postby G-unot on Mon Aug 08, 2005 11:20 am

Sprewell Gets his vengence for getting traded away!

This is the game in which the Wolves play the Hornets. Sprewell was traded to New Orleans, adn was not very content with the Wolves. Angered by this trade, he has been plotting his revenge. And with the trade still fresh in his mind, he will be going all out on Minnesota.

The first quarter, Sprewell got his return to Minnesota. He dropped 12 in this quarter, leading the game off with the first 4. KG also went off with 16 in the 1st.

The second quarter, JR Smith took advantage of the many mismatches such as the Kandi man, and Mad Dog. He compiled 13 for the quarter. The Wolves side was pretty even, but Rashard McCants thtrew down a one handed dunk on PJ Brown, stole the ball and skeeted in Brown's face with a beautiful jumper!

At halftime, Minnesota is up 9, with the score at 61-52. Chris Paul and Latrell Sprewell are the players of the half, who were the stars of the big Hornets-Wolves trade. Paul had 14 points, 8 asses, and 4 steals. Spre had 19 points, 4 boards and 4 steals.

The third quarter was full of excitement. KG dunked on PJ Brown. He is getting messed up by every one! Chris Paul hit 2 threes, they were back to back. Sprewell and JR combined for 22 points. JR was guarded by Josh Smith most of the quarter, but still got 12 points.
92-91 Hornets lead.

THe fourth was where the players bust out thier mojo. Spre and JR tore the shit up in the 4th. JR had 10 and Spre only had 8, but they took the clutch shots, and made them! With 1:32 left the score 118-118, Sprewell hit a specatular 3 all over Josh Smith! Two posetions later, 118-121 now, and JR takes a 3 with full coverage on him, drains it and the Wolves had to call a timeout. Only 34.3 second remain, KG posts up the exhausted Sprewell, and throws it down! With 24.2 left, the Wolves let KG post up again, this time he puts on his signature fake right and fade away on the block. with 4.2 remaining, the Wolves foul PJ Brown and he misses both. The final timeout is used, and the Wolves decide to go to the hot man KG. The ball is inbounded, and KG is doubled imediately, and is forced to kick the ball out to and open Chris Paul. He pulled up for a deep two (his foot on the 3-point line), and misses as the buzzer sounds. A tough loss for the Wolves and are now 2-1.

Final Score-Timberwolves 122---Hornets 124

The player of the game was Spreewell, as he tallied up 37, 6 boards and 4 steals. JR Smith also had an amazing carrer high 35 points, beating his old high by 2 points.

The Wolves also had KG working his game, as he posted an amazing 46 points, 16 boards and 4 asses. Chris Paul had 24 points, 13 asses, and 5 steals.
