Chicago Bulls Dynasty (New)

Postby JCSDHS19 on Sun Feb 27, 2005 3:37 pm

Mod's can delete my other thread. I was doing an experiment there and realized my team was still too good... had 90 something rating. So I made my team worst with worst players.

Team: Chicago Bulls
Rosters: The most recent NLSC roster but of course I did trades
Sliders: Andrew's
Difficulty: Superstar
Team Rating: 78

Starting Lineup

C - Chris Mihm
PF - Chris Andersen
SF - Kyle Korver
SG - Gorden Giricek
PG - Bobby Sura

Bench

C - Jake Voskhul
PF - Mark Madsen
SF - Luke Jackson
SG - Steven Blake
PG - Luke Ridnour

Game 1:
New Jersey Nets vs. Chicago Bulls
We won 117-111.

Kyle Korver POG: 31 points & 10 rebounds.
3 players with a double-double (points, rebounds)
Korver, Mihm, Andersen

Sixth Man - Mark Madsen tied with Jake V.
Madsen 11 points, 4 rebounds, 4 assists
Voskhul 8 points, 8 rebounds, 3 assists

All 10 players had at least 3 points and played 9 minutes.

Starting Lineup and Madsen had at least 10 points.

Comments, Concerns, Suggestions are welcomed.

This is just an experiment with mostly shooters and a mixture of tall slow players.... There is no African-American on this team but believe me its not a racist thing... just wanted to do something different. I apologize if I offend anyone.

Thank you for your time.

Game 2 -
Indiana Pacers vs. Chicago Bulls
We won in a thriller 124-120 I think.

Chris Andersen POG: 14 points, 16 rebounds, 6 assists, 2 blocks.
Thanks to foul trouble by O'Neal in the 1st health Andersen took advantage.

Mihm had another double-double points-rebounds

Sixth Man - Went to Madsen again.... Go figure... He had 14 points 3 rebounds I think. Though O'Neal had like 4 blocks on him lol.

We were losing 35-32 at the end of the first even though O'Neal had foul trouble. Then probably the biggest run I've ever done in Superstar level I went on a 21-2 run.

Had a commanding lead at the end of the 1st half, but of course never count out the CPU on Superstar. Actually took the lead in the 4th quarter before Korver lead the Bulls away.

He had 25 points 7 rebounds 6 assists I think. Though he missed quite a few 3-pointers thanks to Artest defense.. I think he had like 5 turnovers... Artest was all over him.

This could have easily been a lost but Madsen and Korver came through done the stretch.

Everyone scored of course.

Game 3 -
Phoenix Suns vs. Chicago Bulls
We won 117-110!

What a game!!! Thanks to the performance of Chris Mihm POG: 19 points, 16 rebounds, 5 assists, 4 blocks, & 3 steals and the performance of Steve Blake Sixth Man of the game - 15 points, 3 rebounds. Even with 24 turnovers and the lost of Bobby Sura (starting point-guard) for 4 weeks with a torn achilles tendon.

Andersen had another double-double and Madsen continues to suprise people with 9 points, 6 rebounds, & 2 assist.

Suns were doing great but the lack of effort by Nash killed them. He played a horrible uncharasteristic game. Kyle Korver had another great game.

Everyone scored of course. Even with only 9 players I don't plan to sign anyone. I think Ridour and Blake can handle the extra minutes they will get. Sura was more of a passer then anything, he really had to work had to get his 9.7 points a game.

Game 4 -
L.A. Clippers vs. Chicago Bulls
We lost 129-100

Who would have thought? After beating two top teams in Indiana and Phoenix, we would lose to a medicore Clipper team. But due to the absence of Bobby Sura and the overpowering physical performance by Kaman & Brand... the Bulls had no chance.

We didn't get our usually offensive rebounds.... only about 10 compared to the 20 or so we usually get. Brand & Kaman pushed Mihm & Andersen around like rag-dogs. Also the 40% 3-point shooting team of the Bulls only managed around 30% with Kyle Korver going 7-21. Only Mihm had a double-double. We were just completely man-handled physcially for the first time.

I hope the loss of Sura won't be the downfall in the next 3 1/2 weeks. Good night.

Game 5
Sacarmento Kings vs. Chicago Bulls
We lost 134-112... pretty disappointing preformance. I guess my 9 man roster is really starting to hurt me. We just got out played and it was terrible.... No defense.... As soon as I get enough points i'm doing a Team Defense workout. Hopefully I can end my 2 game losing streak against the Warriors. Any suggestions would be appreciated.

Game 6
Golden State Warriors vs. Chicago Bulls
We WON.... ending our 2 game losing streak. now 4-2... 129-109

Kyle Korver had a career day, possible never again do this.... 41 points, 16 rebounds, 15 assists, 2 steals... UNREAL. I couldn't believe myself but he was in the zone and no one was guarding him. Mihm had 20 rebounds... Madsen had another 10 point performance. Hopefully when we get Bobby Sura back we can really start rolling. Korver is 30ppg 7.8 rpg 7.0 apg 1.5spg

So should I run the offense through Korver or use my big men more?

Use your big men. Smaller guys are easier to come by. Try and develop Anderson and Mhim with Korver as a good 3 point threat for kick out passes. Also trade for Skita and develop him. He's a pretty good player if you can build up his rating to about 54-55.

Game 7
Denver Nuggets vs. Chicago Bulls
Whoa... won 142-138... I see my problem is defense I played this game a little too fast paced. Korver had 30/4/6 as usual... It was a great game... all 9 players that played scored at least 10 points. We had great teamwork on offense but defense was terrible... Spent a training session on defense... As soon as I get another 2500 I'll do a defensive training sessions.... Just trying to get my starting 5 to have more stamina... Andersen barely can play 2/3 of the game. And who is Skita?

hey man ur dynasty is good but its not very attractive. ppl prolly read ur posts but dont post cause it doesnt blow them away. its not jus good recaps that attract ppl

its pictures. u hav no pictures. go to google.com or somethin and get some pics up here it makes it much easier on the eyes. also if u hav a reputation in this site then ppl post fast. like if micchy boy started a new dynasty and it was utter crap, every1 would post like "omg its so good" lol. i would...

ur new and only hav 15 posts, so its hard for ppl to buy into ur dynasty. but if u keep persisting and working and dont giv up the interest will grow. i would jus recommend puttin some pics up

i like ur dynasty (Y)

HA HA HA yeah reputation counts.....
well there some thing factors what make dynasty attractive..

1. most of us like dynasty to be realistic.. your team is bulls but the identity of spirit of bulls are not in your team coz you traded most of your players..
2. pics bro... even a header will be great, making it different from your recap to your ordinary post...i f you can capture screenshot, used real one, look at other dynasty they used real pics of nba action, try it.
3. some originality, or copy some idea of the other then put some of your own ideas to make it unique, just give credit though.
4. do it coz you like it...

hope you continue this one or make a new one...

Heck.....

Postby DHoward on Mon Mar 07, 2005 4:13 pm

My teams charlotte BObcats, all original players except Dwight howard. Got him trading 3 players man. Now my records is at 63 - 5. My man howard is leading candidate for rookie/mvp along with emeka okafor! Both of them are leauge leaders in most departments, and both are averaging almost 30 pts per game at 8 mins per quarter! And i'm using very hard sliders to boot!

Heck! Thats what you call a dynasty!
