What's up guys this is my first time on these boards or even doing a dynasty biography so bare with me. So far as you can see by the subject line it's a dynasty with the C's, they are my hometown team and I feel like I'm betraying them if I use anyone else. So as far as my settings here it is:
Sliders: Using Pared's from Gamefaqs

Rosters: In my dynasty updated as of the David Wesley and Jim Jackson deal so VC is on the Nets and whatnot.

Difficulty: Superstar

Minute Quarters: 9 minutes, with gamespeed of 71 to make more realistic scores.

Simulated quarter length: 12 mins but I plan to play all my games.

I like this team not only cuz they are my hometown team but they have a lot of young talent along with some vets in Pierce and Payton. My main goal is to get them all experience and try to deal my big contracts especially Raef Lafrentz (prob to Charlotte).

Now so far I have played three games before I started this thread so I don't have the stats for them anymore so I will just post results of them, after this I will give some key stats and plays.

Nov 3rd Philly Win 98-87
Nov 5th Indy Loss 103-95
Nov 6th @NY Loss 92-83 (Lost Pierce that game in the first with an injury, only injured that game though)
Nov 10th Portland Loss 90-85 Pierce had 39 points I remember that.

Key stats for my team so far:

Charlotte came back in this game but didn't have enough to overcome Boston to provide them with their second win of the season. Boston at one point led by 23 points, but Charlotte came back in the second half but didn't have enough. Jason Hart for Charlotte led all scorers with 28 points. Ricky Davis came up with a key play in the fourth, with Charlotte down 3 Keith Bogans went for a three pointer but was blocked by Ricky Davis and Gary Payton got to the ball first and laid the ball in to pretty much put the game out of reach.

This was a great win for Boston in many aspects. The first reason is that Boston overcame a team that was considered better then them and one of the early top teams in the East. Another reason is what Boston overcame. In the first quarter, Gary Payton, Paul Pierce and Ricky Davis all got called with two fouls putting them all in foul trouble and not able to play much of the first half. This put Boston's bench in earlier then was needed but the bench of Boston was up to the task. At halftime the bench kept the Celtics within 3 points with Al Jefferson, Walter McCarty and Delonte West contributing emmensely.
The second have brought Boston's starters back to the game and in turn built Boston a lead that was never broken by Washington. Ricky Davis sparked the Boston run with 10 straight unanswered points, and Gary Payton sparking the defense with 5 steals. In the end Boston was victorious 89-82.

The Boston Celtics play a powerhouse from the West and come away with a win? Yes, believe it, the Celtics controlled the Spurs throughout the whole game to come away with a 96-85 win. This is the first win in franchise history for the Celtics against Tim Duncan, who ironically enough when the lottery was going for him the Celtics had the best chance to get the first pick locking up Tim Duncan. The Celtics led by as many as 17 points, however in the first half it was a close game with the Celtics ahead by three at halftime. Paul Pierce led all scorers with 27 points while Tony Parker led the Spurs with 23 points. The Celtics now go above the 500 mark for the first time since the first game of the season.

The Celtics came from 10 down in the fourth quarter to force overtime and eventually take the lead after going down by as many as six in overtime. Ricky Davis along with Gary Payton helped make some key defense stops also in the game, however Ricky Davis did foul out 30 seconds into the OT period. The Celtics pulled out the win 101-96 behind Pierce's game high 27 points for their fourth win in as many games.

I understand you can't get pictures since you're on XBOX, but I'm not realling sure. Take a look at some of the other dynasties and see what they're doing and maybe get some pointers, but even if you don't, your's is still really good. By the way, are you from around Boston?

I'm from Southern Maine, bout an hour and a half outside of Boston. Thanks for the input, maybe it just seems to be the same thing over and over just game recaps I dunno. Thanks for commenting on liking it though. I think after a week I'm going to put up things on league leaders and the standings and Power Rankings. Just not too deep into it yet ya know. Does that sound like a good idea? Any other suggestions are welcome. Should I do mock interviews or are those kinda pointless?

After playing a few games I have decided that I'm going to play 10 min quarters instead of 9 minutes because for my field goal percentage I should be scoring a little big higher on average, almost close to 100 (shooting over 45%) also decided to move fatigue up from 45 to 50. Just updating all of you on these tweaks, let me know if I shouldn't do this, thanks.

Game Summary (Loss 89-70):
This game saw a rematch of last year's first round playoff series between Boston and Indiana and unfortunately for Boston the result was the same with a loss to the tune of 89-70. Boston at one point in this game led Indiana by 13 points at halftime. By the end of the third Boston held a slim one point lead and then the Pacers decided it was time to play basketball. Boston was held to 12 points in 4th quarter resulting in a blowout. Doc Rivers was able to be caught after the game and he had this to say,
"This shows us exactly where we stand with the elite teams. Our youth showed in this game because our guys got a little cocky if you well after being up at halftime in their place, but the Pacers have a lot of vets and never gave up and they showed us in the fourth. I'm interested to see how we bounce back from this loss."

Hahahaha I don't feel sorry for them, although I will be sorry if I lose to them coming up. Will have a recap by the end of the night, snowed in and got nothin else to do but play some Live. I better beat them beat them first game of the season!

Game Summary (Win 107-66)
After coming off a tough loss against Indiana the young Boston Celtics bounced back against the leagues worst team so far to get an easy win on the road 107-66. Everyone in this game contributed for the Celtics including their bench which included Al Jefferson getting his first ever double double in his young NBA career. Paul Pierce led all scorers in the game with 29 points. Al Jefferson was spoken to after the game and he had this to say,
"Hey this is a great win for our team first of all, we needed a big win as we haven't had one yet this year. I'm just happy to be helping this team along the way, the more time I get in the lineup the more I can produce for this team, I can only do what Doc wants me to."
This last tidbit from Jefferson seems very interesting, almost like he thinks he deserves more time. When Doc was asked about this he had this to say, " Big Al still has some things he needs to learn in the scheme of things, we have invested a lot of time and money in Raef and Mark, Al will get his chances, he's still only 19 years old and the sky is the limit for him."
