Journeyman Shaq

Decided to take your advice. The only reason I believe I couldn't get a screen shot before was because it was the season I decided to sim half of (season 3). First two he was with Cleveland, the 3rd he was with Golden State and then he was signed by me. So NellieShaq has now been added to the gallery.

The quality is fine, as long as the shot is clear, all is well. The Big Fossil has been added. Which reminds me, towards the end of this (if we get all 30), a nickname competition would be a must.

I think coming up with nicknames for all the teams is going to be tough. I've just been trying to think of a few but beyond the ones that have already been thrown out there for his real life stints with certain teams, I'm drawing a blank at the moment.

Sweet, thanks for the front page coverage. Hopefully with that exposure we can get him playing for 30 teams even quicker. I decided to use the NBA Live 2002 Lakers Shaq in "Shaq 30" since it's become a slightly more obscure game now and one of the aims of this is to get him across as many as possible. I'll use the other Lakers shot down the track when/if we get more of him playing for them. The Suns one is great too, plus it's the only NBA Live 09 one we've had so far.

I have him on the Bulls in my 2K11 association and I even took a screenshot of him, but the pic was on my old hard drive. Will take one when I face them again.

And looking at that Suns screen shot, NBA Live 09's graphics looked pretty good. What was the actual game like? My housemate and I usually bought NBA Live games every two years, so I didn't get to play that one.

It wasn't too bad. There were some clunky animations including a rather frustrating one that sometimes happened when trying to jump for a rebound (basically just a little hop without even putting their arms up) and your timing was just slightly off, but it played an OK game of basketball.

That makes lucky thirteen. Just two more and we've covered half the teams in the league, not a bad effort.

Thanks Martti. I dunno why but he looks particularly awesome in that Bulls jersey. Probably because of nostalgia and wanting him to be teammates with MJ when I was a kid. Interested to see what teams come next.

How did he get in the Rockets? Well, I made an association with historical teams, and in the second season, I traded Olajuwon for the younger Shaq(notice how those two Shaqs are totally different). The trade was well..a disaster. I never could play with Shaq that much, while Olajuwon went on with the Magic to get the title. Shaq left me in the offseason, and now, after 4 years, I finally made the playoffs.

The difference between those Shaqs is that the All-Star one is the Lakers Shaq.

I can`t remember the team that he actually left me for...hmm, I will look it up later and maby provide you with another pic.

Thanks Cruzerr it's probably not a trade I would have made, since Hakeem was a beast in his own right, but having Shaq on your team is always fun. I was just wondering who the team he was playing for in that East jersey was. Since you indicated it was Lakers Shaq, he would have been in the West.

He is in Lakers yes, but because of the amount of the teams...I have one on the East and the other one in the West. xD
