Nice to see some signs of life at 'ol EA in terms of basketball. Hopefully the dynasty mode is just a copy and paste of college football because recruiting has been my biggest gripe with every college basketball game ever made.

Again, just like Live 14, the first impression will make or break the future installments. I'm sure 2K is already hard at work to rush a college mode out by '27 on the undercut

Agreed, it's definitely going to have to make a great first impression. Fingers crossed for a strong return; EA Sports College Football seems to have been successful though, so I'm optimistic.

Since the CLC was accepting bids and EA apparently won, I wonder if there's some kind of exclusive deal in place that'd prevent 2K from including any kind of extensive collegiate content.

Just thought of my other problem with this announcement. Probably no PC release...

I guess I'll have to blow off all the dust on the ps5 in a couple years.

Yeah, I'm not holding out much hope for a PC version. On the bright side, it should be getting an international release...or at the very least, region-locked discs are no longer a problem these past couple of generations.

I'm super excited. I remember about 2 years ago, I was scrolling through some Xbox 360 games at the Marketplace and surprisingly found an XBLA version of NCAA Basketball 09: March Madness Edition still available for purchase. I immeasurable bought it, tried the game out and it was very fun! It's the only college basketball game I legitimately own so it and NBA Live 19 were both special to me for introducing options to make a simulation basketball game fun for me. Lol

Yeah, I heard that the reason is that they don't sell well compared to consoles, but I dunno the true reason. It would be really cool if they did come to PC.

Oh man, I tried so hard to get March Madness Edition before the Xbox 360 store was closed last year. New account, VPN, everything; no luck purchasing it here in Australia. It probably didn't help that I left it until the last minute when everything was in the process of being torn down, as the purchase kept failing at the checkout stage. Really wish I'd been able to snag it for the couple of bucks it was on sale for, though!

Sports gaming on PC is definitely more of a niche market. We sometimes forget that because it's always been a big deal in our community since the very beginning with modding NBA Live on PC, but yeah, console releases have always sold more copies.
