Hoop Land (Android/iOS)

Hey NLSC! I've been posting my mobile basketball games here all the way since my very first game, Basketkball Time. I'm excited to show off my latest hoops game called Hoop Land, which is a sequel to my previous basketball game, Hoop League Tactics. Hoop Land is a 2D pixel basketball simulation with real-time gameplay and realistic 3D physics. All controls are touch-based and allow you to pull off cross-overs, step-backs, floaters, and more. If you're not a mobile controls type of person you can also connect a bluetooth gamepad. My goal is to make the game fun and simple to play but with great depth. The beta is currently limited to practice mode and a mini shooting game but in future updates I will be adding Exhibition, Season, Career modes and full customization. The full game will release some time in the first half of 2023. I look forward to hearing your thoughts and feedback!

Very nice job on the art
I encountered a bug with the ball blocked behind the basket after a long missed 3pt
Imo at the 1st start you should let player to pick the control mode - i hate touch controls on any game- and inform that you can still change it from menu

great job so far! I would like to see more layup variations on offense. (maybe some behind the back or no look passes on occasions). On the defense end, I'm eager to see the rebound and blocking animation when it's available. Also, I think the bench needs a coach walking back and forth and yelling plays or whatnot.

Created a short video of the many ways the AI can run the pick and roll. In the next week I'll be working more on off-ball player movement and adding more play variation. Thank you all for your comments!

Hey guys! I just uploaded a new trailer. Hoop Land will have a 64-team college league that runs concurrently with your pro league. You will be able to scout upcoming prospects for the draft each season. I'm excited for you all to try it out when it launches on October 24!
