NBA street v2 crashing

About ever 20 min the game freezes for 5 seconds then closes the window.
The dolphin app closes and everything.
Just downloaded Dolphin and NBA street v2, when i open dolphin i click "Open' on the top left and find the NBA street file. is that not the right way or do i need to change a setting or anything?
