Which nba live series is the greatest for you?

For me, NBA Live 2004 through 06 was pretty solid as far as the last gen releases are concerned, as of course was NBA Live 2000. NBA Live 10 has the best gameplay of the current gen Lives in my view, but it's let down by the flaws in Dynasty Mode.

NBA Live 2006 is the best.

@diesedust: I think so too
@andrew: Choose only the nba live series for pc

As I said, NBA Live 2004 through 06 have been the most solid recent releases for PC. I'd personally go with NBA Live 06 because of a few improvements it featured in Dynasty Mode, though NBA Live 2005 remains popular and I still hold it in high regard too.

Sorry to thread jack.

How's it going Andrew.. I watched the NBA Live 10 vs 2K10 that was posted on the home page, and apparently 2K10 sweeps in all categories. So would you still suggest 2K10 over Live 10, also I guess your views were based on Live 10 were based on the Console side right, since there is no PC version of it.

That series is still ongoing, there's a lot Czar hasn't spoken about yet in terms of gameplay where NBA Live 10 made great strides this year. The biggest drawback for me was the game modes; Dynasty's flaws and a lack of them in general. 2K10's probably the game that's come closest to encouraging me to switch but there's still certain things about 2K's control system that I just don't like. I'd still advise renting them both and seeing which you prefer.

For me, 2005 had to be my favorite, i liked 2003 when it first had the crossover stick but i just remember it looking so cartoony it annoyed me...2005 had to be my all time favorite then from there i got into the 2k series until my 360 died on me leaving me to get live 08 and of course the mod from here

Thanks Andrew.. It would have been nice if EA made a PC version of Live 10. :cry: :P

Yes. Us gamers are damn pirates.

How come 2k sports continues releasing their game to the pc even if it is easily pirated?

Ultimately we can only speculate as I don't recall either company commenting on the situation too openly, but the higher ups at EA were probably fed up with the lower sales on the PC versus the cost of producing the game, while 2K is currently willing to take the risk.

I would have to go way back to NBA live 95, that was truly fun and simple! Besides that game my other favorite was Live 2000, with the latter winning the battle at the top of my list.
