Guide to Installing Patches (NBA Live 2005-08)

(For everyone's benefit, I'm posting this in the NBA Live 2005, NBA Live 06, NBA Live 07, and NBA Live 08 sections.)
As I recently mentioned, we're on the lookout for people to help expand and improve upon our library of Wiki articles. I've added a fair bit of information to our Wiki already and received some help in the past, but I thought I'd get the ball rolling again with a much needed resource: a guide to installing various patches for NBA Live 2005 through NBA Live 08:

When I get a chance, I'll add a guide for NBA Live 2003 and NBA Live 2004 as well. In the meantime, feel free to link anyone who needs help installing patches to that resource; if there's anything useful to add, feel free to add it, or bring it up on the Discussion tab.

Made a couple of minor corrections and additions, including information on PLAYERPKGs and shoes.
