I found this post from 2006. I would give credit but all I saw for the name was gar from WSGF website.
This is easier than it seems or looks!
1. You need a hex editor.
2. It can be downloaded at http://www.chmaas.handshake.de/delphi/f ... /xvi32.htm
3. Load nbalive07.exe into the hex editor.
4. This will next step will change 800x600 mode into 1680x1050.
5.In the hex editor just hit(ctrl F) and a box will appear
6. check the circle that says HEX String
7. In the line where you can type or copy and paste this 20 03 00 00 58 02 and hit OK
8. It will look crazy but you will see the 20 highlighted towards the top and you will see the the rest of the hex string 20 03 00 00 58 02
9. Now, starting with the 20 and Overwrite it with 90 06 00 00 1A 04. All 6 columns have 2 numbers per. Just follow along and change the numbers to this 90 06 00 00 1A 04
10. Now, there is one more ' 20 03 00 00 58 02 ', find it (ctrl + F) and repeat steps 5-9
11.Overwrite it with ' 90 06 00 00 1A 04 ' again....ur done, 800x600 resolution is now 1680x1050.
12. Upper left corner click the file tab and hit the save button. Exit and Play from your normal NBA LIVE 07 exe
NOTE: IN THE SETTINGS THE RESOLUTION WILL STILL SAY 800X600 BUT WHEN YOU START THE ACTUAL GAME THE RESOLUTION WILL BE WIDE SCREEN.
So you do not need to change the resolution. Just play!!
Sorry for the caps. Wasn't yelling!!
I edited the original instructions to make it a bit easier to understand.
Hex editing isn't easy unless you get the correct instructions!!
