JCD38's AIACT Change

I tried this AIACT change in an existing dynasty. Could not install the DBF files, because that caused my team to lose human control and thus me losing the ability to Play the games.

The problem with removing sections of the AIACT is that then instead of performing the undesired action, in this case too much driving, the player will simply pass. This means players who have high ratings for driving, such as Kobe Bryant, will hardly ever drive and will constantly pass the ball, even in odd situations.

In games I played this is what happened. I play locked as PG. Generally when I pass to Kobe he tries to drive to the basket, often scoring. On fast breaks he runs the sideline, and I often pass to him from behind half court so he drives in for a score.

With this AIACT, if I pass to Kobe from behind half court, he instantly passes back to me for an over and back penalty. If he gets under the basket and I pass to him, he'll pass it right back to me rather than taking a short jumper or trying a layup.

There are elements of this that are better. For example playing against the Cavs, LeBron is scoring a lot more than he scores without this new AIACT. Oddly, he constantly drives to the basket, usually pulling up for a short jumper. With the default EA aiact, LeBron hardly ever handled the ball. As a result he took far too few shots. Now he's acting like a superstar.

The other good element is that Kobe is passing for some assists.

However, the passes at odd times are hard to accept. When there is an undesired action in a section of aiact, removing it makes the player pass in odd situations. Such problem sections must be edited somehow, to create desired behavior in those situations.

I've tried the new version with the new rosters and this is what I found. Way too many double team! It is fine to get double teamed here and there but whenever I drive, I get double teamed, leaving my teammate open for 3. I mean EVERY SINGLE TIME! It is harder to score with centers and PFs because of this double teams but it's much easier to shoot 3.

One other thing is that offensive rebounds are way unacceptable. CPU is always at the perfect spot to get the OR making me hard to box out. However, I think this is problem with the game itself and I don't know if it can be fixed with AIACT.

I try your 9.02, there is some problems. I play my season mode game ,superstar, 8min, Denver vs.Phi. Look at the score, Andre Miller stats(i don't leave him wide open), and (no)activity of C and PF. Your fix make the game much easier.

1. make sure the file you downloaded is named "gamefix9_02.zip" (update version of 9.02)

2. make sure you installed the WHOLE patch (there is some stupid guy when believe everything is changed in aiact.viv so they just use one file, but i can say the most important is the dbf and the binary-edited settings.dat)

3. do you think dalembert and webber would shoot a lot in 76ers?

i will post my own stat later

1. I use link from fisrt site, the file named Gamefix9_02.zip so it's correct.
2. I installed whole patch like in your instructions.
3. I think that 3 shots from Webber is not realistic
4. What can u say about Andre Miller activity, and his shots from 3points line.
5. Which part of your fix include aiact file?
6. Did i must start new season? Maybe this is the problem, i install your patch on my saved season.
7.When i install part2, cpu at start cant find path, after a while cpu find the main nba folder, it's correct? Part2 should be install in main nba folder?

4. i always set double team to Iguodala and so leave miller and wide open...sure if i defense him tighter, he will not shoot 3 pt as i knew

6. no need new season, just use the teamfix.bat

3. your roster is not update........ the team strategy are primarily for another AI not webber, try trade him to DET, also in 76ers webber shot a little shots only.. i watched a lot NBATV this season for 76ers

EDIT: also, the primacy of webber of your roster must be not very high enough

also, everyone's gameplay style is diff.

Hmm, Andre Miller is shooting too much shots, but you double team Iguodala so I guess that's acceptable. I'll be trying these later this week and I'll post my stats.

sad to say but pg domination is still there since your previous gamefix. but i have to say i think no one has really solved this problem yet after trying different gamefixes (aiact).. aside from that gamefix 9.02 is (Y) (Y) (Y)

Jimmy, not sure if it's your latest roster or the latest gameplay patch but the players don't fatigue as much as they used to. In an 8-min game, if the computer and I call one time out each per quarter then all player are at full stamina all the time, causing no substitutions. Maybe you should turn up the fatigue again?

I download your newest rosters 4.05, then used your gamefix 9._02 and now everything is fine, almost everything.
Your setting file is bad, because cpu substitution is set on 33, the cpu almost doesnt sub. Next thing is fatigue, players almost dont tired.

no, my setting not bad, is good........they sub.....if u play 8min or more
raise up if you play less min

fatigue is fine........ every team play 8-10 players every game like real life

players always get tired with my roster and setting/gamefix

Sorry man but i'm not the only one who thinks that(urzafailure) I play 8min quarter and i can play with my starting five full match, at the end of the single quarter players dont get even a half of stamina.

using the 33 sub slider when you play 8mins per Q the cpu teams sub after 1 and a half quarter or when the player has half his stamina spent, making them only use 10 players. its actually a good thing but i notice during a close game cpu teams didnt put back their star player even if they are down by 5 or 10 points in the last 2 mins. :?

i adjust my cpu slider to 43-48. subtitution is decent now although teams use all 12 players. (and i always put user slider to 0 coz i want to sub my player manually)

raise up if you play less min

fatigue is fine........ every team play 8-10 players every game like real life

I had it at 100 awhile ago and Dallas only subbed Dampier for Diop the entire first half. Then in another game, Minnesota only subbed Mike James for Foye the entire first half. Your last roster fix had the opponent sub in/out about three people per quarter which is more realistic for me.

Don't be angry, its not about to don't use your file, it's about to fix and have full joy with this. I really love your hard work fixes, but maybe u can try now ,use your noinjury roster, play a 8min quarter and tell us what happen. When cpu sub is set on 33 ,cpu doesent sub any player.

But Jimmy in your last patch this wasn't the case. The computer would substitute much more frequently and the fatigue would not replenish as fast. Did you happen to change the values/variables for this when preparing this version of the patch?
