Yes they don't have mesh stripes. The buni I posted is the one I made for NBA LIVE 06 which I haven't released. The PSD file is here though, so I would be able to remove them. What about the color? Is it correct? (By referring to the image, I can say that it's not correct, but if I refer to my TV set, it is correct) What do you think?

the blue looks fine..but i think the red should be a bit more brighter
Wed Feb 07, 2007 4:10 pm
Thanks jinth, still waiting for pointers here before I continue

I agree with the red being a tad brighter. I'd also say clean up the neck trim a bit.

Alrighty, first ingame preview on what could be the bloodiest jersey that I'll make.
I followed jinth and bigh0rt's advice of making the red brighter. I've replaced the number (in this case only #5, for preview purposes only; only 100 numbers remain

), and the letters (from frAn's LIVE 06 Nets jerseys, credits to you dudette).
I noticed that EA made the front numbers small and tads lower from the wordmark (well, too low).
I really need some help here, especially on the HEX editing. I need to enlarge the size of the front numbers and move it a few spaces higher. And I believe that it's not centered, too. I really know nothing about HEX editing, please help me on this if you guys know the trick
EDIT: I forgot to mention that the Jason Kidd cyberface is by glen10982.

Here's a new preview, using the Bulls' Home Practice Jerseys. The front numbers are moved a few places higher, but the numbers are way smaller than the first preview.
Fri Feb 09, 2007 12:27 pm
are these 512 512 or 256?
cause if they are 256 and your having issues with the numbers why not use the Nets jerseys as a base?
Fri Feb 09, 2007 11:02 pm
About the number not being centered, did you make sure you replaced the number 5 correctly? I can show you how to hex edit the size and position of the numbers.

Yes they are in 256. In the first ingame preview, I used the Nets jerseys as base. On the second preview, I used the Timberwolves jerseys as base.

Yes I've placed the number 5 correctly, though I've noticed that when using other jerseys as base for numbers, they are not compatible(well, position-wise).

Yes, I do need help on HEX editing. My goal is to move the number position a few places higher(on the first preview).
When I ran HEX Workshop, I didn't understand a thing. I really need pointers here, so big thanks in advance, Pdub.
Thanks to the both of you.

Offset on the left. The number information is always at the end of the FSH.
Yellow Highlight - X position
Red Highlight - Y position (you want to increase this)
Green Highlight - Width
Blue Highlight - Height
Look at the small blue line highlighting the cursor next to the Y position. When you put your cursor in the same place, the numbers at the bottom change. Look at the bottom red highlight. This is the decimal conversion. So "3B00" in hex is 59 in decimal.
You can also use base converter to find out the hex value. Tools->Base converter.
Set Byte Order to "Intel" and datatype to "unsigned short." When you enter a hex value, make sure you enter the zeroes, too. So enter "3B00" into the Hex box and a number will appear in the Decimal Box. You want to decrease the Y position to make the number higher on the jersey. So enter a smaller number in the Decimal box and look at the new Hex value. Enter that in the FSH and save it and check it out in game. If you want to move the number to the left, decrease the x position. If you make the number bigger, it will move, so you should get the size correct before you move it or else you will have to move it again.
You can also just use the values I have in the pic, since I tried it out.

No not all of them, only the home and away ones(202 numbers in total). It was such a bad experience

, but I intend to do them again on the Sonics' home uniform. They need fixing too.
