How come G. Mikan is not available in the LEGENDS POOL?

Hey brothers, can somebody please tell me how G. Mikan is not available in the legends pool? Do you have to UNLOCK HIM first? He's in the 50's All-Stars but his name does not appear in the legends pool . any idea why this is? I have the original XBOX and I was wondering whether this is just a glitch or something?

It seems EA left some players on the Decade All-Star teams out of the Legends Pool. I've corrected that problem with my roster update though unfortunately there's nothing that can be done for the console versions of the game.
