Re-installing the game

Postby Bonnichsen on Mon Feb 12, 2007 12:34 pm

Hello everyone! Call this a very n00b question if u like but how do i re-install the game without losing my customised rosters? I want to try and re-install the game to install EA's official patch. Did this signficantly change the game?

the safest thing to do is to copy your roster save and your sgsm to other place before uninstalling live07. Then reinstall the game, apply the official patch and copy back your roster save and sgsm.

Saved games and settings shouldn't actually get removed when you uninstall/reinstall the game but you might still want to make a backup just in case.

I'm also re-installing the game. I installed the jimmyfix and a couple of cyberface patches a week or so ago and now I've had the game lock up once and lately I've got a glitch where the player I'm controlling starts sliding acoss the floor instead of running (like his animation is stuck). So, Ive decided to re-install (since I just completed my Suns season -- Spurs won the title). I'll use the tips above as guidelines. Thanks.
