slam dunk comp. timer?

Is there any way how to fix the timer in slam dunk competition? the one in all star mode.. i think NBA doesnt have time limit considering what Nate Robinson did last all star. he tried so many times in one of his dunks...
does anybody here knows of a way to solve that?
that 24 sec time is too short...
