Rebouding problems

Postby shachaf on Sat May 28, 2005 6:28 am

First of all, the button of box-out on defanse isn't useful at all.
only the commputer can use it, and for the user it is very hard to do it.
You can rebound only at jumping to the ball, and it isn't realistick, because box out is a very importent for rebounding.
also,a monor bug is that a palyer who catch her ball after a block shot doesn't get another rebound to his stats.
the guards don't help much on rebounding, both on defense and offense.

i am sorry, but a ball who coming from a blocked shot is a rebound, look for Play-By-Play in nba.com:http://scores.nba.com/games/20050519/SASSEA/PlayByPlayPrint.html
(7:20) [SEA] Evans Layup Shot: Missed Block: Duncan (2 BLK)
(7:17) [SAN] Duncan Rebound (Off:0 Def:3)

(7:29) [SEA] Evans Layup Shot: Missed Block: Mohammed (1 BLK)
(7:27) [SEA] James Rebound (Off:2 Def:3)

abouth rebounding with guards, i managed to grab 10 and 11 rebounds with dwyne wade, but it's not the point. You can do it only if you control them, because usually they don't help on rebounding.

It's not wired.. :)
if you shot was blocked, you missed it because it wasn't a basket, so, for every shot who missed- there is a rebound, right?

so you can say that a ball coming off for a block who hits the backbord is a rebound :)
I had shown you a stats from the Play-By-Play from the sonics- spurs match.
You can't say that a blocked shot isn't a missed shot, and for every missed shot there is a rebound.

i wouldn't mind too if the numbere of blocks was normal. i don't care about 2-3 more or less rebounds, but when my team average 14 Bpg...

yeah but in the game sometimes you get blocked and its not a miss. like if they take a dunk away or stuff like that. does it count as a miss in real basketball? and yeah an airball caught is a rebound
