I was making a video production project at school that had something to do with downloading music. We realized halfway through editing that we had used a Metallica song. Kinf of ironic, isn't it? We thought about sending a fan mail of some kind asking if we could use this song of yours we downloaded in a pro-music downloading commercial. Of course we didn't but we laughed about it for a long time.

That probably wasn't funny to any of you, but it was to me. And that's all that counts

What do you people think of K-OS? I got his first album "Joyfull Rebellion" a couple weeks ago and have been listening to it non stop. He is a very unique rapper and I've heard that the album was in the making for 15 years! (or that could have been his first album "Exit"). But he mixes hip hop, soul, jazz very well in his music, the background vocals are always great. I understand that a lot of you wouldn't have heard about him, and if you haven't PM me and I'll get you some songs.

He's super popular here in Canada. B-Boy Stance and Crabuckit were both the no. 1 videos on MuchMusic (the music tv channel) at one point.

I love the guy. The guy grew up in the suburbs of Toronto, and always says he doesn't need a 'crew' or 'posse' because he just likes to talk with his dad.

Hey my good friend I met here at UC Irvine has a good friend from back home whose cousin is a rapper named Venom. He's from Nor Cal (I forget exactly where, but close to Oakland), but he's a white rapper who had a hard life growing up. Before you say "oh god, not another white rapper trying to be like Eminem" or something of the sort, just listen to some of his music... He also met The Game and gave him a demo and the Ruff Ryders really liked his stuff. I'm gonna put some of the better songs on my web site... would appreciate some comments!
