This. (Y)

And if you get bored with designing something you can start with a new one again, which is good because it increases your portfolio instead of failed association stories.

Hmm... Is it perhaps a coincidence that Thierry has started 50 assoc/dynasties/etc..?

Thanks a lot guys for the advices. As I said I'm taking a month off, at least until September. Will try to sort all this things out.

I was actually liking the Yao-less Rockets idea, but Valor almost killed me

and yes, take a break from making dynasties/associations. Me and countless others have told you to do this already, don't restrict yourself a time limit, just enjoy life and forget about this, then come back when u feel ready/comfortable to do so, and not just with a feeling of obligation or have half-hearted attempts just for the sake of it. You have great graphical skills that makes your associations look awesome, but you just never stick with one.

@hova- , I dunno if it's just me, but I try to not go out in the summer 'cause it's way too hot

The heat wave is horrible here too. 11 PM and it's still almost 30 degrees out. Last year we got like a week with days like this, but it will be at least a whole month of this.

only 30? over in hong kong it's at least 33 everyday. last saturday it was 38 and hk has like a 80%+ Humidity level daily, which makes it very stuffy and even hotter than the temperature indicates :x

oh, it's like 4am and it's 30 right now  and this continues until mid august (hopefully)

Well, during the day it reaches about 35. The great thing about it is, that everywhere you look there are hot chicks with short skirts or short shorts.

Seattle just had a heat wave of sorts, which is awesome. Now its back to 68 degrees (20 Celcius), and overcast with showers. Fun

I would love to swap places with you, 20 degrees c is like heaven for me right now. I grew up in cold weathers, so HK is a killer :-x

:hump: Nice... we have to wait at least until December here for something like that. I would say it's a 10º C average here until September.

Yes you did, it was one of the first ideas and I was really going for it before. Might do in 2k11... a career-ending injury, but at least I won't kill him like I did with Elden Campbell  He could be an assistant coach.

I think it's funny how this was an association thread, but everyone is off talking about weather.

There's always some off-talk in Thierry's threads.

Well, I didn't have to suffer Thierry's regime of association threads, so this is kind of new to me. :D

Well, I was talkin bout getting out swimming or just do some sorts of sport, which does not mean you need to train your 8000m running qualities ;)
My problem is (apart from the fact that I have to learn a shitload of things right now), that my room is maybe the hottest spot in the house (even when I'm not in it :cheeky: ) and thus I'm a bit afraid of my PC burning (my cooler sucks). Same for my PS3. So I cannot really play right now.

Needless to say, this has been one of his more successful association threads.

They always get to like page two, then he starts hinting that he's going to quit which triggers 10-15 replies then he actually does quit which gives him another 10-15 and before he knows it he's on page 4.

As it should be. And why I'd prefer being there.

Browsed Thierry's associations to see which had more pages among his stories (Thierry's record is 8 pages).
I noticed that Thierry really is an attention whore.
He had an association that he just flat out quit without his usual drama/excuses because of the 'lack' of followers/readers.

Here's the pattern most of you know about:

1. Makes an association.
2. People are follow the new one, Thierry is still excited to continue and update it.
3. A few people reply to his constant updates, which doesn't meet Thierry's expectations for the number of 'followers'.
4. Thierry whines about quitting.
5. More people reply, like Jae mentioned.
6. Thierry actually quits, his followers reply in his thread like what Jae said.
7. Rinse, Lather, & Repeat step 1, while he still has the attention of his followers from the previous story.

I forgot what that condition is called wherein a person always makes himself to be a victim just so they can be always noticed (step 4-6 of the Thierry process).

Yep, that has been the pattern so far.

And about the weather talk, Thierry can't complain about replies now.
