kc my processor is duron 850 lang. tpos may nabasa ako about overclocking.. napaakyat ko ng 935.. pero tumaas din ang fsb and dram clk ( whatever those are) safe ba yun? i have two overclocking options kc either up to 973 or 935 pinili ko lang 935 para d gaano maabuso ang processor. safe kaya yung ginawa ko? eh kung sagad ko sa 973 safe pa ba?

So my specs now:

Duron 935 ( from 850)
256 sdram
gf4mx440 sdr
xp pro sp1

if i add memory, wud it make my games better/smoother o videocard dependent lang talaga ang games?

anyway, binabawi ko na lahat ng paninira ko sa live 2003.. after moving to winxp and no more live 2001, ive learned to love the game.. esp with the patches.rewards?... kanina lang naglaro ako live 2001 sa friend ko.. kita nga diff. para 2loy ako naglaro ng live ps1 :lol:

if u overclock ur processor by FSB in bios setting(sa tingin ko ito yung ginawa mo), nde lng frequency ng processor ang tumataas, frequency ng devices mo sa pci slots tumataas din pati videocard, pati rin memory, so mas mag-iinit. Pero malalaman mo naman kung ok lng ung pag-overclock mo, kung stable naman at hindi naghahang ung pc mo lalo na sa 3d gaming![/quote]

dunno kung yun ang process ko sa overclocking. sa frequency/voltage control ako pumunta. had the option either default, 110/33/off or ung higher. so i chose the 110.. etc. umakyat ng 935 mhz, 220mhz fsb, 146mhz dram clock. yun ba yun? no cjange in cpu temp. kc always at 46c ang cpu and 35c system temp. safe ba yun? d naman nag hahang kahit maka-12hrs ako pc use. although mga 4hrs gaming lang yun and the rest winamp3. wud u recommend i keep these settings or balik ako sa default?

meron na akong ginawa na jerseys pare hinihintay ko na may magrelease ng rosters para ok ang installation tignan mo sa page 5 ng thread na ito meron akong preview dun

Advice ko lang sa yo tol, hindi advisable ang overclocking. Ang mga piyesa ng pc natin ay optimized up to a certain extent lang, speedwise, temperature wise, clockwise, at counter-clockwise :lol:

. Pero seriously, if you insist on overclocking, i have tips:

1. A safe overclocking can be done only up to 5-6% of your total clockrate. Going beyond that might even decrease the performance of your processor.

2. Make sure you have proper ventilation for your pc. Most of my friends who overclocked their PCs have dual chassis fans (not to mention aircon pa ang mga rooms nila). Maintain your cpu temperature below 35C.

For other info, may nabasa akong thread regarding overclocking somewhere here.

there is another way and a much better one at that. Open up teams.dbf and find 'HOMEADV' this determines how much of an advantage the home team gets, the higher the number the better chance they have of winning. SOmeone posted this before and I have had good results with these numbers.

tnx. i kept the 935 o/c nlnginsted of pushing it to 975. :lol:

sa heat, on co aircon pag gumagamit ako pc tapos pag maint ang panahon, open ko chassis ko then nakatutok pa electric fan sa cpu. wala naman alikabok kasi on ko rin aircon. oo nakakatawa gnagawa ko. eh ganun lang talga hehe. anyway tnx. sa 935 nlng ako
