Deleting teams with Access

Hi ! I know that Access can be used to remove teams from a roster but do someone know what exactly are the values that I have to delete to do this. I tried to delete the teams' lines in teams.dbf but the teams still appears when I load the roster. It drives me crazy please help.

Generally speaking, it's not a good idea to remove teams. The only teams that can really be removed safely are the Decade All-Stars and other special teams. The game needs 30 NBA teams in the database to work properly. Using the spreadsheet program in OpenOffice or MS Excel to remove entries is also preferable to MS Access in my experience but again, generally speaking it's not advisable to remove teams.

Thanks for this explanations. The mod I'm making is not supposed to be played in season. just in playoffs an exhibition cause it contains 16 teams. And what at are those entries that i have to delete with OpenOffice or Excel?

Even so, it's better to just leave the teams you don't want to use.
