I just purchased NBA Live 05 from Amazon.. yay!

After six years of playing NBA Live 04... I am finally taking a step forward and upgrading to NBA Live 05.

I actually bought NBA Live 09 for the PS2, but it was such a horrible game that I couldn't play it anymore.

I noticed that you guys are still making roster patches for this game and knowing that really motivated me to buy this game.

I know I should be upgrading to a new console or something, but I don't really have a lot of time to play at home. I actually have a new Macbook Pro with Windows 7 on Bootcamp. So NBA Live 05 will keep me busy while the professor gives his lecture.

I just want to play a fun basketball game with all everything updated. That's it. I don't care TOO much for realism, just as long it's not frustrating. NBA Live 04 was so much fun. It was just a very basic basketball game, and that's what I like. Even though you could get like 10 blocks and 10 steals a game, it was still a lot of fun. The only you prevent yourself from getting all those blocks and steals is something called self-control. I didn't try to get like 200 points a game. I just wanted to play a basketball video game.

Anyway, I heard NBA Live 05's gameplay is similar to 04's, which is good. The graphics are updated and a lot of the patches here look awesome.

I'm looking forward to it.
