having problems

i just installed nba ive 2005 and im starting to see that certain backgrounds and graphic screens arent loading. like when the game starts up, the screen goes black, then goes to a blue screen when it says "EA SPORTS ITS IN THE GAME" then the screen stays dark while the intro movie plays until i hit enter, then it takes me to the main menu, but the bacground is just black. when i load into a game everything is fine. but how do i fix this?

Wha? I have an "original' copy of live 2005. im having problems getting the background graphics to load. maybe you need to read next time

I'm sure rekib31 did read your original post. Problems like this are commonplace with pirated copies, which is likely why he came to that conclusion.

If that's not the case here, then my next guess would be that it's a video card issue in which case a driver update may be in order.
