NLSC Current Roster Update v3.4 Released

A new version (v3.4) of the NLSC Current Roster Update for NBA Live 2005 is now available to download here (roster only version here). The rosters in the update are accurate as of December 27th 2009, see below or check out the release thread for full details.

greetings sir andrew im just gonna ask you if the headshapes really properly converted to 2005? bec we're counting on this already in the previous NLSC releases

No they're not; I don't make faces or headshapes. Just install the pack that JKers posted in his thread after you install the roster update.

jeah i don`t understand him either because he posted a thanks at my thread for it and what`s the problem for him... didn`t he even download it

You're welcome. If you're OK with it, I'd certainly be happy to include those fixes headshape files you posted in the next update but credits could be a bit of a problem if you're not sure who made some of them.

offcourse you can include them soo people wouldn`t have problems with headshapes.. and about the credit`s are pretty tough i only have edited 3 headshapes soo credit`s most certenly for that are noone but i know that most of the headshapes Evil Genius Studious (EGS) and for other`s i don`t know...

Hmmm...well, what I might do then is add you and EGS to the credits and include the headshapes. If any problems arise I'll deal with them as they come, either updating the credits or removing specific headshapes according to the wishes of any original authors who may step forward.

can you change the way the cpu plays defense in your next update? the computer uses a lot of zone defense. thats not realistic

There's a column for defensive plays in the teams.dbf file but I haven't actually made any changes in the rosters that would result in more zone defenses.

what should i do with the file to make the cpu play man to man defense 90% of the time?

Sorry, I'm not sure what to suggest at this time. To the best of my knowledge, I haven't changed anything in the rosters that would result in the CPU playing zone defense more often.

is there a way to make nlsc 0910 roster my default roster? i mean i dont want to load the roster time and time again every time ill play the game.

Please don't triple post. Edit your previous post if you want to add something new.

The origdb folder is not supposed to be deleted. It contains the roster the game recognises as the default. If you want to make the NLSC roster the default roster, copy the files from the NLSC0910 folder to the origdb folder.

Furthermore, your second post is completely off-topic; if it's not about the NLSC Roster Update v3.4, do not post about it in this thread. I've answered your other questions so far but we've gone too far off on a tangent here.

i just noticed this. my substitiution frequencey is at 50 but in roster v3.4 as odom is in the bench. the lakers arent using him, they will use powell and morrison instead of odom. why is it like that?
