Any DECENT 2009 roster update?

I downloaded the 2.1 update and it's ok, I guess, but I can't edit shoes there. I also downloaded "The latest 08-09 rosters" and even though I added tons of shoes - many shoes are still missing (pink), and I can't change them to another shoes (can't edit the pink shoes - they remain pink).
Is there a NORMAL 2009 roster update? I don't need anything fancy - just a good update with no missing shoes and correct body types.

Unfortunately (as for now) you won't find anything else on NLSC for Live 2005.

Yes I did, but whenever I try to edit shoes there's an error and the game crashes. I think there's another error, I can't remember when.

If anyone has a roster update - even updated to February or March - it would be great!

Bit of a slap in the face to suggest the NLSC roster isn't even decent considering the amount of work I put into it when few other people were doing much with NBA Live 2005. Nevertheless, as I said in the other thread it should work fine but I'm having trouble duplicating the errors people are getting. If I can track the problem with the shoes down and fix it I certainly will, but in the meantime you can try a fresh install as Jon said or copy the original shoesacc.dbf file to the roster save.

Sorry Andrew, didn't mean the roster isn't decent - it's great, but some of us have some errors with it. I meant if anyone has a roster with no errors at all. And I'll try to copy the original shoesacc.dbf file. By the way, if I used the original shoes file - will I be able to use all shoes, or the shoes will be locked (like in the default rosters)? And if it's locked, how can I unlock it? The code I used should unlock it but they're still locked. Thanks!

They'll be locked, but you can easily unlock them again by editing the shoesacc.dbf file. A thought did occur to me as to why it might be crashing, but it's weird that it didn't crash for me when I was editing the shoes. I'll try a couple of things when I'm working on the next version; with the Draft over and done with, the new versions of all the NLSC rosters are now my patchmaking priority.

OK, I used the original shoesacc file - and unlocked all the shoes using the DBF Commander. Now, all I need is to find a way to change the sock color for some teams to black for away games. I remember asking it before but no one had a clear answer. I guess we'll never know...

I know about that, but there's no home/away sock color there. If I change to black, doesn't it mean that they'll wear black socks on homes game too?

Sorry, I didn't understand how to do it. The teamgear file has only 1 sock colour column - as far as I can see. Maybe I didn't understand what you were saying. Can you please explain it further on? I'm a bit rusty at editing stuff since I haven't done it in months and kinda forgot everything.

There are entries for all jerseys available in the game: home, away, alternate, practice home, practice away, and retro home, retro away and retro alternate. You'd need to edit the entries for all the team's away jerseys if you want to make global changes to the sock colours. For easy reference, all primary away jerseys have a JERSEYTYPE of 1.

I tried to edit socks for home and away teams many times, but I didn't found the way to do this. I edited many values in teamgear.dbf, even I rewrote the values from these teams, which uses black away socks as a default - but no results.

OK, let's make it more simple: Does anyone have the needed files already with black socks for the teams that have it in real life? If anyone can upload it - it would be great!

PS: I think only Dallas, Detroit & Washington wear white socks/shoes away. Unless I forgot other teams...
