Why I cannot change the face of...

Hi,

I am using "Players" folder (in sgsm) from wu940526. In the game you can find Chris Andersen with his long hair. But I want to have Chris with his cutted hair, so I extracted chander.fsh and chanderB.ebo from my default "Players" folder (Chris Andersen is there with short hair). I put these files in my sgsm folder. But when I looked at him in my game, his face was new, but he was with his old long hair. I tried to search file like chanderB_hair in "Players" folder, but I have found nothing. So what to do...?

Have you looked in the main sgsm folder? There definitely shouldn't be a Chris Andersen hair .ebo in any of NBA Live 2005's default .vivs, though if you're using custom files you might want to check out plyrgrb.viv to see if there's one there.

Yeah, I checked all vivs in my default sgsm "players" folder, but there was no hair_ebo of him. I've found chander.fsh, chanderr.fsh, chanderB.ebo, chanderB_goggle, and chanderB_headband, but not hair...I've noticed, that some players have their hair_ebo in plyrgrb.viv Like Anthony or Iverson), but not everyone, and not Andersen. I am pretty damn sure of that. Maybe the way is to import to my "players" folder, all those default Andersen files with his short hair from my old, previous "players" folder...? What you think?

Sure, try restoring the default files and see what happens.

Unfortunately, it didn't worked out. Like I said before - I imported all old files of Andersen with his short hair, but still the same. Maybe Andersen player model is placed somewhere else...?

Try changing his player package in the players.dbf file and rename the ebo files you are using accordingly. That should work since you can't find the hair file. If he still has his long hair after doing this, then you know the hair is apart of his headshape, and not a seperate ebo file.
