Roster conversion

So I'm working on simply adding the new rookies on the NLSC v1.11 to Shannon's already-converted v1.04 roster for 05, or replacing Seushiro's ratings.

My main question is-which files will I have to edit? The players.dbf obviously, but is there anything else like the appearance.dbf that may be needed?

Also-conversion of .mdb files back to .dbf. I use Access since it feels more convenient and I'm a database nub, but when I open a .dbf, it changes it into an .mdb for use. Will I be able to change it back to .dbf after I finish and use that .dbf without any problems?

I'll probably have more questions as I go on through this thing, but if there's any people with database experience willing to answer questions, I'd appreciate the help.

I think you and Seushiro should just work together, because there's no point of having 2 of the same rosters. Just pm him and get in the mix.

i actually got a knack to return to patching after ages...i am currently doing that now...i am very experienced in patching for rosters and their ratings u can do that and i will help you with ratings...i will try and get photoshop for mac cos i have a mac now i can still do art picture files. e.g. cyberfaces

All right, I'll try fiddle around with that. Maybe just the adding of the rookies to Shannon's already-converted one, if he gives me permission, at first.

Andrew gave permision to convert future rosters, so I guess he would be fine with it.

I can convert Andrew's latest roster if you want. I just bought 05 for five bucks and plan on giving it a go til 08 and 2k8 come out.

So much for me contributing something to 05, my ability with graphics is still too terrible.
