Nicknames

Hello everybody, can anybody help me how to edit/create a nickname for a player? Thanx in advance.

The file you'll need to edit first is nicknames.dbf. If you're using DB Commander (which I highly recommend), all you need to do is scroll to the bottom and press the Down arrow key to create a new entry. Set DELETED to False and use the next ID# in sequence (ie if the last nickname is 211, use 212 for the new nickname). Enter the desired nickname in the NICKNAME field and enter False for the CREATED field.

Editing an existing nickname is easy; just find the nickname in the database and change it as desired.

To assign a nickname, enter the appropriate ID number in a player's NICKNAMEID field in players.dbf.
