nba live 2005 and WIDESCREEN??

Hi there,
I am proud owner of a 19"-widescreen-TFT which runs at 1440x900. My NBA live 2005 doesn't support that resolution an just "expands" the 1024x768 resoulution to fullscreen mode. This looks aweful.
Does anybody know how to make NBA Live 2005 run in 1440x900-resolution? Thanks!
