I play on All-Star with Fatigue set to 50, so naturally players' stamina goes down bit by bit.
It seems to me, though, that sometimes a player's bar will go down a whole chunk within just a minute, and I just don't know why. I mean, I would understand if it happened after a couple of fastbreaks on both sides, or when a player really fights his way through the opposite D, or when making excessive use of the Turbo button, or when playing full-court press D. But I don't see all that have any effect really. Instead, it looks rather random to me.
But then again, what does low stamina do really? Sure, it
should make players miss more dunks, long shots etc., but I haven't yet witnessed any occasion when one player started playing crappy and I was like "Yeah, of course, it's because he's so exhausted, just look at his stamina!". Nothing like that. At best, it's like "So he just missed that dunk. Could be his stamina. But propably, it's just because the CPU's having its comeback streak and I'm not allowed to hit shit."
So, has anyone of you seen clear indications of how exactly low stamina affects players?
And if so, about when do these effects kick in noticeably? That is, when should one sub - when stamina is down to 75%, 50%, or even only at 33%?
I usually sub at around 60-75% stamina, but that´s just out of habit and because I wanna be nice to my players.
