My Team Jersey?

Postby zmac on Sat Sep 10, 2005 10:52 am

Does anyone wanna make my teams jersey, its not a very technical jersey, no logos or anything like that...
And it doesnt have to be perfect.

Anyone up for it?

Looks nice (Y) . I have a couple questions; what shade is the green, is it close enough to the Hornets green, and can you either post a larger pic of the logo(s), or direct us to a site somewhere where we can find it? I think I will do these, I'm itching to do another jersey, it's like I'm addicted .

EDIT: I can probably find the font on dafont, so maybe if you look around for the horseshoe ...

EDITEDIT  : Just got your PM too. Thanks

Here's what I have so far. Does anyone know a program that will let me arch the text? I haven't figure it out yet. Besides that, I just need the horseshoe, and I haven't looked for it yet, so I'm okay for that. Is there anything you would change, zmac?

its easy use photoshop and all you have to do is create new layer add text
then go to layer->type->warp text then just mess around with different styles if you want i can tell you a real easy way i just learnt to make a double stroke

That tip only works if you add the text with Photoshop. I have the text saved as a PSD from a .png. How do I go about arcing it if it's basically a pic?

I say go ahead (Y) You could probably do a better job. Actually, he wants two more, so maybe you could do one of those.

I've finished the yellow one. To c0nr4d and Da King23, zmac says it's okay if the text isn't arched
This is what I've got:

EDIT: Here are the other two, zmac.

Well, you beat me . I have questions about it, though.

How did you curve the text, or did you download one (which one)?

What did you use to do the trim around the collar and sleeves?

How did you do the green trim? I tried setting the layer to multiply, but then I couldn't get the right colour.

Lol, thanks!
To curve the text you just create the text layer and then select: "Create warp text".
I downloaded the "Athletic" font from Dafont.com...
I did my trim on the collar and sleeves using the Polygonal Lasso Tool... That's why it didn't came up so well...
I don't really understand the last question but if you mean how I get the right green color: I just selected the green with the Color Variations button and added some blue... (Y)

EDIT: This is my last patch for Live 2005
