A New, Unique League

The Global Basketball Association is a unique offering to the online basketball community. The GBA is completely different to other basketball leagues online, as it offers multiple chances to get involved in the league. This original idea for the basketball community has already completed its first season, and the Charlotte Flight became the inaugural champions of the GBA. However, Season 2 will see many changes. Firstly, we are considering the idea of using NBA Live 2005, in simulating the games, as graphics have improved greatly.
Many other online leagues only allow one way to get involved, and that is to run your own NBA team. But, I know that there are many people out there, who want to be part of a league, but just do not have the time to be a General Manager. Now this is one of the things that make the GBA unique. This league allows you to become a player, so that you can play with the likes of LeBron James, and Tim Duncan. Also, how many times have you dreamt about draining that buzzer beater, to lead your team to the Championship? Now you can, if you sign up to the Global Basketball Association.
Don't think it ends there. There is still so much more this league offers. The General Manager role in the GBA, is much more significant. As the majority of the players in the GBA are members of the online basketball community, why should you be limited to just NBA teams. Of course you are still able to make huge, team transforming trades, which will propel your team to a possible Championship. But, why don't you make your own team as well? A new city, a new name, and a new logo. All this, will make the team you control, 'your' team.
