A new version (v1.16) of the current roster update for NBA Live 2005 is now available and can be downloaded here.

Key features of v1.16:
- 2005 Offseason Rosters (August 13th, 2005)
- Player ratings updated
- Coaches updated

With all the player movement some jersey numbers are now incorrect and/or subject to confirmation. Feedback on jersey numbers, ratings, bio data and anything else is, as always, most welcome.

So for they are all good....although I havent checked jersey numbers...but thats not a big issue

Indeed I did; probably because I'd just finished updating the "Next Release" thread before posting here. Fixed it up.

Sorry, I didn't make that update so I can't offer any advice or fix the problem.

does this roster works well with the rookie patch by lpasso???

Why don't you put the portraits and cyberface???
Each time we have to reinstall Zach draft pack and there are missing cyberfaces and portraits like Oberto and Jasikevicius...
During last season, you put portrait and cyberfaces (eg James Thomas, Obinna Ekezie....) so why don't you go on ???

Good patch,but the portraits of a rookies would be cool too!

1 Concern, when I replace my originaldb with this roster to use it in dynasty mode, all of the rookies come in 4 times. Is there any way to fix this problem? I checked players.dbf and there are not multiple instances of these players, they are just being generated when i enter dynasty mode.

after looking around, here is some insight into the problem I am having in dynasty:

no duplicates (that i can find) in appearance or players.dbf

duplicate players do not appear in FA list when roster is loaded in regular mode, but DO appear in FA list when i reset rosters and originaldb is loaded.

not all rookies get duplicated

players may have 2,3 or 4 duplicates

only affects rookies.

• Jason Williams = #55, not #2
• Rasual Butler is in NOH, not in MEM
• Bonzi Wells = #42, not #6

1. I can't do that without permission
2. 4 MB is already rather large for a continually updated roster patch

swammy: The only duplicates in the roster are the instances of players on the All-Star teams, All-Decade teams etc.

why has jacikevicius such bad ratings, he is one of the top players in europe and you rated him 55, shouldn't he get more?

And why have you released david harrison from the pacers roster?
He played good, agressive in summercamp, so why don't you release james jones (FA) or austin croshere who is likely too be released by the pacers ( because of his big contract )

And then that salim stoudamire guy from atlanta, is he really this good? you've rated him 59

He hasnt played 1 NBA game yet......the best league in the world.

David Harrison has barely played for Indiana and probably wont. James Jones will be resigned, he is very good, and with enough minutes can do well (look at his stats vs Seattle). And as Andrew said, he wont be making any moves until they are official, so hes not releasing Croshere.

Is he really this good? Lol. Hes probably better, if you want to compare to summer league, then have a look at his stats there, also in college.

Andrew did a great job, apart from jersey numbers which is not a mistake nor problem, the rosters are perfect!

It's hard to judge how good a player will be in the NBA. I'm sure once I see more of Jacikevicius in the NBA I'll be able to rate him a lot better. With David Harrison, I've had to release him because NBA Live only allows 15 players on a team's roster, so I have to juggle those extra players with the free agent pool.

has noone else experienced the duplicating rookie problem in season or dynasty mode with this roster? I've never seen it in the previous versions.
