v1.16 released...

Announcement:

A new version (v1.16) of the current roster update for NBA Live 2005 is now available and can be downloaded here.

Key features of v1.16:
- 2005 Offseason Rosters (August 13th, 2005)
- Player ratings updated
- Coaches updated

With all the player movement some jersey numbers are now incorrect and/or subject to confirmation. Feedback on jersey numbers, ratings, bio data and anything else is, as always, most welcome.

Notes:

Not much to say, except that as with all other offseason updates, I won't be making any moves until they're official, please only post transactions I've missed (ie transactions that occured before the release date that I didn't include and missed while double-checking) and yes, corrections on jersey numbers are most welcome along with the usual suggestions for ratings. And of course, please base all feedback on v1.16, earlier versions are no longer being supported.

Game crashes in Dynasty mode, problem comes because of TRADEABLE ????

Steven Hunter signed with the 76ers, Jason Hart, and Jamal Sampson
signed with the Kings. Didn't know if you're aware of these transactions Andrew.

On Indiana you put an extra Julius Hodge which was drafted by the nuggets and on the nuggets you already have an existing Julius Hodge but his rating is three points lower. (the one on Indiana is a 67 and the one on Denver is a 64)...although you have 2 Julius Hodges....there is no Danny Granger....lol...not a major problem just thought you should know

Nope, that's not Andrew's fault. This happens when you install Lpasso's rookie cyberfaces.

The roster HAS Granger and Hodges in their respective teams.

second, roko ukic officially signed with Tau Ceramica a couple weeks ago. is there a reason he's still on the raptors roster in your update?

so which ones is which ... is the Real Julius Hodge on the Nuggets or the Pacers...cuz when i installed the cyberface .. the face came up on the "Hodge" on Indiana not Denver

Andrew, in case you didn't know, Rasual Butler and Kirk Snyder are on New Orleans, not Memphis. Shawn Bradley has officially retired, and R Traylor, G Payton, W Person, C Ward, D Davis, E Watson, A Mourning, J Pargo, D Jones,
L Sprewell and W McCarty are all Free Agents, so they should be in the pool.
Scott Williams has also retired, to do commentary on NBA telecasts. P Drobnjak
is playing overseas as well as the rookie Orlando drafted in the first round this year, forgot his name. Hope this helps you out.

Where does this come from ? Is this the same problem as in the 1.15 ?
How could we resolve it ??

Pistol: Thanks for the correction on the five-team deal, not sure why I placed those players in Memphis. I'm certain I made the other transactions though. As for the free agents, I prefer to keep them where they are until they sign elsewhere, likewise I don't like to make any transaction until it's official. This is how I've always done the rosters and I'd prefer to keep doing it that way. Also, the Heat have picked up their option on Alonzo Mourning.

That's an issue with lpasso's installation, not the rosters. I can't quite remember the fix but lpasso posted it a few days back.

No; I don't add players until they officially sign.

Just oversight. I meant to move Vasquez out of the visible rosters as well, and Shawn Bradley. Easily fixed in v1.17.

v1.15 corrected the Dynasty crash. I have tested v1.16 thoroughly and never encountered this error. I cannot fix it as there seemingly is nothing to fix. If there was an error in the DBF, it would crash for everybody, every time.

but Sarunas Jasikevicius's number is not 13 it's 3, here's a pic

and another thing, the pacers signed him because he is a shooter, and i can assure u he's a good one, he can score from anywhere on the curt, especially from behind the three point arc, in the euroleague he was probably the best shooter, i don't know how good he'll b in the NBA but he definitely should have atleast 75 in 3 pointers...
i also think he should have more off. awareness, around 70 if u ask me...

Most likely. If that's the case you'll have to ask him about it, I can only support unmodified copies of my roster update as once you start editing the DBFs and start experiencing problems, the error could be anywhere.

It's that, I tried to start a dynasty without Draft pack and it works, I'll try to put Lpasso cyberfaces pach, he says it supports your roster or your rosters support his pacth, we'll see if it's true...

Edit: With Lpasso, it works but there's only 27 draftees or new players cyberfaces, I'll try to mix them with Cervantes road to 06 missing and we'll see if the game crash in Dynasty mode, there's only players.dbf and appearance.dbf to modify to change player appearance in the game ?

With Cervantes, I can change the appearance of Fabricio Oberto and have his portrait but it works only in normal mode, when I'm in dynasty it crashes, does anyone have an idea of the origin of this problem ??

I noticed that kwame browns number is still 5 when it should be 54
and i thought Dallas waived Finley so he shouldnt be on their team
but other than that great patch!

he should get a high D-awareness rating...he's tough defensively and he named C-USA defensive player of the year twice...

Jasikevicius with as 55 overal rating is just not right.
