When i click download it just brings the the same website up in a new window. Also, when i downloaded the file from nbalive.org, when i opened it, it was just a funky word pad file, any ideas on how to help me install this patch, thanks a lot.

I have a problem! :(
In Indy, Danny Granger is replaced by a cyber-faced and "portraited" Julius Hodge, while in Denver, Julius Hodge is without a cyberfaceor portrait.

Is something wrong with the install. I followed every instruction correctly, but found no cause.

Could you take a look?

Right Click!!!

Yea, apparently, installers are adding an extra Hodge. Anyway, here's what you have to do. Open players.dbf and delete Hodge who's field number is 768. That is, secon Hodge you'll find scrolling to the bottom. Also, delete whole field 768 from appereance.dbf.

will it work for 1.16?

I've been wondering about this, why don't you just integrate the faces in the roster patch, just like the other cyberfaces and portraits by Lpasso and Kristo Vaher.

Could it be possible? :?:

I've been trying to keep the download as small as possible as it's already 4 MB. I would consider it though, so long as lpasso had no objections.

hi guys, how do you install the rookies into andrews roster? i tried to install it in the NLSC0506 folder but when i opened the game the head of the rookies became pink. can you help me install it properly? im new thanks.

Fri Aug 19, 2005 5:02 am

You need to extract files from each of player folders to your .../NBA LIVE 2005/sgsm folder.

Fri Aug 19, 2005 11:46 am

but i already extracted it. i did everything stated in the install text

Sat Aug 20, 2005 3:54 am

So, you have all ebos and fshs in sgsm folder. Also, make sure you used correct installers, lp-andrew's_installers if you're using his NLSC0506 roster.

Andrew, I think that you should add the faces to your update. I'm sure that no-one will mind the larger download if they don't have to add faces, etc. Let's just hope that it's okay with lpasso. What do you say, lpasso?

EDIT: I just had an idea. Andrew, why don't you do two downloads? One would have the actual roster, like always, but the second one could have the files that go into the NBA Live\sgsm folder. What I mean is that if lpasso agrees to let you use his patch, you could add the info to the players and appearance.dbf, and make that one download (like always), and include all the files for the new cyberfaces that go to the sgsm folder in the other download.

The reason I suggest this is because if someone were to, say, download both v1.17 downloads and one was the roster and the other one included all the files for the new rookies, than when v1.18 comes out, they wouldn't need to download the files again, just the roster update.

Or if you make v1.17 two downloads, people who already have lpasso's patch would already have the cyberface files and therefore wouldn't need to download them again (i.e. they would only need the roster update that contains the cyberface .dbf info)

If you do it this way, than the update wouldn't need to be any bigger than it usually is, and you would just have to download a second update that is basically lpasso's patch, less the install stuff.

Confusing, eh? :D but it could work, could it not?

At this point, it really would be a hassle for me to do that and right now, I could do without hassles. ;)
