Once a player's contract expired...
what is the major factor in affecting the size of his contract??
His current rating?? or his last year performance??
I've just started a new season with Wizards, and I would like to spend some points in training Hughes and Brown. Yet they r only having one year contract left. I would like to like whether the rating of the players or their performances affect the size of the new contract.
If it is the rating... then i will just train them after renew of the contract.

In my opinion, I think its the player's rating that affect the size of a player's contract and we see that in the real NBA. Guys like Kobe and Shaq get very large contracts while people like Steve Blake and David Harrison get smaller contracts. In escense, ratings have an effect on the contract size a player will ask for.

So now I can stop training them...
until I renew their contracts....

Well yeah if you want them to put forth smaller contracts and stuff...stop training them to reduce their overall ratings.
