Hello, there are many players in the roster update that need to be fixed. I suggest looking at each player for errors, this was done on nbalive.org's roster. Here's an example of two guys who need updating...
Mutumbo 99 in Blocking??? Don't think so.
Mohammed 56 (i believe) overall... Not good, he's at least a 65-70 to be a starter on a championship team.
There are some other obvious ones in there (christen anderson's 99 block as well). The only drawback to evaluating each player for errors in his attributes is that by upping the players too much can make for "super teams" such as in the nbalive.org roster. Basically if you upgrade too many players stats, then the teams have no bad players. Here's an example of what i mean... Beno Udrih definetly needs an upgrade on this game (he did get some playing time, 55's usually aren't even bench players in live), but in Live.org's roster, Beno was a 3pt speciallist. That is what I mean about taking the upgrades too far. Plus, some players need to be down graded (Yao)... But anyway, my point is, please look through the entire roster (if you have time) and find these horrible errors and change them (Like Mutombo's 99, it's just inexcusable).
Thanks,
Cdon

if mutombo doesn't deserve 99 in blocking, then i don't know how deserves it?

Dikembe is towards the end of his career. He may have deserved a 99 in blocking in his prime, but he is passed his prime. He is a backup. If he still was worthy of a 99 in blocking, he'd be starting somewhere in his old age.

Every so often I will go through each player and check ratings; I did it earlier this year. Please understand this is a very lengthy process and I don't have time to do it every update.

Oh, I totally understand, I am sure it is a long process... And am greatful for all the work that you do! I am amazed that you put out the rookie roster so quickly. I was just thinking maybe you could possibly combine your rosters (get permission to use live.org's) or assign a team member to take a look at existing players stats. It really is a pretty large problem. Over-rated players (from past greatness) totally throws off team balance. In addition, under-rated players (such as mohammed) being starters in new rosters take away from a great team's status (such as San Antonio). That is the only point I wanted to bring up. Understand that I really appreciate all that the site does and I know it is a tough job to do this stuff.

That's why I invite people to write in suggestions and let me know of players that really need attention.
