Wilt Chamberlain....

Thu Jun 30, 2005 11:58 am

in the 60's All-Stars his rating is a 94...however on the free agent/legend pool...his rating is a 79

and he has a ZERO for For DUNKING (wtf?)

and when I edit his dunking ability stat...guess what? he still CANNOT dunk, and he's a 99!

is this a bug?

Whenever I use him with the 60's all-stars he's able to dunk...
what's the deal here? can this be fixed?

PS. I have an X-BOX!

I had this same problem a couple of days ago. Heres what you do.

Edit his dunking up to 99. Edit his jumping up to 65 and edit his primacy up to 99. Then he becomes the actual wilt from the 60s all stars.

He still doesnt dunk that much, you are right. But that has to do with strength rating and jumping and everything too and not completely the dunk rating.

Some of the legends (Walt Frazier, Dave Bing) need to have their dunk package modified if you want them to be able to dunk. EA set it so they would only do layups. Check what Wilt's is set to also.

Cos back in the day, it was considered "rude" to dunk

Steve Nash can't dunk if his life depended on it,even if you edit his dunking to 99.

I'd say it's just because a lot of those guys are at least in their mid to late 40s. Wilt would be approaching 70 if he were still alive.

Then why not give Wilt all 0's for being dead. I think the point of having the legends should be to have them in their prime, the programmers just don't give many of the older players enough credit for what they could do for their respective era's.

I agree, I'm just speculating as to the reason. I can't recall it happening in any other game since legends were introduced in 2000.

I edited Boykins' dunk to 99, and his jump to something high too, and he can't dunk! even in practice!
