whats wrong with 4th-quarter.net? also what does hardiness mean?

Fri Jun 17, 2005 10:12 pm

It shows the player's endurance I think

4th-Quarter is having server problems but shouldn't be down for much longer...

Hardiness is like toughness for a player.

Tue Jun 21, 2005 5:51 pm

Doesnt more hardiness mean the player in prone to injury more?

Tue Jun 21, 2005 6:11 pm

isn't hardiness how "active" the player is while on the court?.... i've never really cared for hardiness rating....

Tue Jun 21, 2005 6:14 pm

hardiness is injury proneness

Tue Jun 21, 2005 11:35 pm

for example if ac green was still playing he would be 99 at hardiness!!! get it?

Tue Jun 21, 2005 11:46 pm

Um.... Green bar shows stamina. Am I wrong ?

Wed Jun 22, 2005 12:22 am

no. hardiness is not proneness to injury. i agree with andreas dahl, it's abou toughness. and yes green bar shows stamina.

Wed Jun 22, 2005 12:31 am

what is "ac green" then.

Wed Jun 22, 2005 12:32 am

What does it mean "Tight D". On defense under some players I see a lock. What is it

Wed Jun 22, 2005 12:37 am

Tight D means tight defender. a lock specifies that a player is good at defending his man. please avoid double post it's possible to edit your previous post, you might be caught by the admin.

I haven't seen the "edit" button. And what does it mean "ac green" that Tempo's written ? Do u know ?

Wed Jun 22, 2005 1:32 am

A.C. Green is an old basketball player.
The edit button is on top of your posts to the right. It looks like this.

hahaha

Wed Jun 22, 2005 11:17 am

this is all getting confusing and AC green is in the mix

hardiness in my opinion is the players ability to be "not injured" in a game..if the player is having a high hardiness rating he will seldom get injured even in the big time colisions. if he has less then even a block can injured him

Wed Jun 22, 2005 2:07 pm

Hardiness determines the likelihood a player will be injured in simulation and gameplay. If you like, you can think of it as a Toughness attribute as well, but that is it's basic function.

Wed Jun 22, 2005 9:06 pm

ok lets settle this matter....

A.C. GREEN was a basketball player who retired with the lakers a few years back, he holds the record for most consecutive games played, a thousand plus games without ever missing a game meaning he logged at least 1 minute per game for 10 consecutive + seaons....

my point was that if A.C.GREEN was in the game of nba live 2005 he would have a hardiness rating of 99 because he was never injured......

meaning hardiness = resistance to getting injured.

grant hill i imagine will have a low hardiness rating...

get what i mean?

tempo wrote:get what i mean?

I've almost get it but you wrote it like that "ac" so I can't understand that it can be a compress of a player name. get it what i mean ?
